I'm completely blown away by how SMOOOOOOTH this engine is running. It looks like there is just absolutely zero vibration. My buddy's Karmann Ghia runs a 1776 that is very smooth and that car runs like like a bat out of hell. I think smoothness says a lot about the performance of any engine but especially VWs. And I'm guessing that my buddy's KG is putting around 100hp. So, if that car is so impressive, how much more so this one that dynos 147. I WANT ONE!
@Jordan Winders they are backwards. I have duals in my deluxe bus and while it's a tight fit they are still accessible to adjust. The adjustment screws should face outwards from the engine.

Why does it look like the carbs are backwards??!!!! The air/fuel mixture screws are on the inside. How are you going to adjust them? Strange.

Because they are! We used our Space Saver Manifolds to allow the engine to be installed without cutting the body.

The breather has a massive bottleneck, because of the fittings they’ve used.
Not good for a performance engine.
