Hey, just to make it clear, Ontari didn’t really cheat per se… In the conclave, you need to kill the other natblidas (nightblood participants) and the only one who remains wins and becomes the commander. So she did actually go according to rule but she just did it without the ceremony and without warning which shocked the other participants and they lost. Also, Alie and Becca are seperate beings which I saw you were confused about in the previous episodes. Becca didn’t become the AI, she made it before the nuclear apocolypse and the AI (Alie) is the one who launched the nuclear weapons from each country to reduce population on Earth. Becca then inserted a formula she had created before which could keep her safe from radiation and inserted it in herself which made her the first nightblood on Earth. This type of blood was the only one which could actually take the second version of the AI (a better version than Alie) and she inserted the 2.0 chip inside her so she could pass down her knowledge to future generations with smart AI made to integrate with and understand the human mind and help regulate important and useful memories. So it does basically have a person’s entire mind in it just as the 1.0 chip but 2.0 can contain minds of multiple people at once in itself whereas the 1.0 chip is made for individual consumption which joins the different minds together in a separate network like a hive mind. Therefore, people have very less individuality when they give into the City of Light whereas with the flame, they get ancient knowledge of their ancestors. Sorry if this was a bit too long and a little confusing but I do hope it cleared some of the doubts even though I know you might be a season or more ahead at this point.
back in the days, when i first watched the show, i would be so curious about pike. i didn't hate him, but i used to think that he was a very interesting character to add on the show this season. but, after this episode i was hating everything about him. i love how this show really gets on the heart. this episode breaks me everytime. lincoln will be missed.
R.I.P. Lincoln, he was such a goat of this show. Fun Fact: Did you know the actors who play Murphy and Ontari (Richard Harmon & Rhiannon Fish) started dating for such a long time. I'm not to sure if they are still together, but I knew they were last together from 2022. I think they started doing back in like 2017 or something.
You know I used to say that Season 3 was the worst season but now watching it back I think its just the City of Light plot cause all this Knightblood stuff is SO CRUCIAL to the overall storyline. City of Light gets so crazy, its really not needed and it turned many people off from the show but it gets SO MUCH BETTER. Season 4 is my FAVE!!
I watched this when it first came out. Pike sealed his fate with that imo. I dont believe this a spoiler, it's my live reaction. I disliked just about every one at some point. So many redemption arcs. The 1st season got me hooked.

I am really so desensitized analytical. She was asking "How can you do that? Why?" I am just here thinking, cause he is an actor and that is how they wrote it. I have a hard time connecting with characters anymore.
In fact, the actor Ricky Whittle (Lincoln) had a beef with the director, so he decided to cut him from the series during filming and he found out the before filming day with the words here is the script if you want to finish it or not, it's up to you. And every other appearance of his character in script was hastily deleted.

Best thing about this show is how different each season really is, I feel like they could each be their own shows by themselves
The actor, who plays Lincoln, was written out of the show because of disagreements between him and the creators. This departure was not voluntary.
Technically it was, since the actor was the one that decided to leave. It wasn't what he mainly wanted, but it was still his choice.

Lincoln is the Mr.Eko (Lost) of this show. Gone way too soon. Felt there was so much potential for his character.
