I find "Entry Grade" kits interesting. They're not bad and a real Gunpla master can make them absolutely stunning, but if there was a project where you wanted to test out some new methods, I feel the Entry Grade kits are the way to go.
I can't agree more. I'm a sucker for RX 78 and i used EGs for my customs. Not that expensive and since its "plain and simple" there is an endless possibility in customization.
Yeah, i also used EG's for testing kitbuild techniques, usually for painting and scribing experiments. I hope Bandai has future plans for releasing grunt units EG kits.
I wanted to learn better psinting so i got some EGs painted as proto, realtype and G3 color gundams. Ive learned a ton of stuff and now i have some great customs for cheap
I think for Metaverse they should've just gone for a series of short 5-6 minute episodes and did a series of Battlelogue-esque fantasy fights with much tighter animation. That said, they did get these kits out there, and I really do like Build-style kits - albeit they can heavily vary in quality - for their ability to stand out on the shelf with their eccentricities.
5-6 minutes is too short. All they need to do was squeeze out 1 or 2 more episodes which focused on the main character actually doing something useful.
The pour type panel liner is ideal for parts BEFORE you connect the plastic parts together. After you connect the plastics there is some force in the plastic where it may cause the plastic to crack and the panel linear flows into the plastic and makes it goofy.I haven't really used them before but this is just some information I learned about
Regarding Lah's performance in the anime: The anime was short to begin with, and character growth was not the focus of Rio's character. This, of course is coupled by the fact that Rio is pitted with or against versions of previous protagonists (with just as impressive mechs) and he definitely falls off. Trust me, if the anime was maybe 12 episodes long, Rio would've had at least an upgrade pack for Lah.
@@Doctorme4 Im talking about the lah gundam not the strike I guess you could do that but it seems like its a melee focused unit could update it in different ways just dont know what bandai would do to make the lah gundam become extremely unique
Entry Grade kits are so cool! Lah Gundam was my first Entry Grade kit I want to try and build and it came out quite nicely, with a little bit of paint detailing to not make it look cheap and it's done.
I'm fine with usual 12 episode of most anime these days. But they did cram most stuff in from various build series with just 3 episodes and there's a lot of gunpla kits coming out of this.
@@GojiraFan-in9oo That still isn't so bad for a three episode anime. WFM on the other hand has more things missing. What about the terrorist? Are we going to see the other Lfriths? People really need to watch more anime if they think Build Metaverse's pacing is bad.
Idea wise it’s not bad, execution and intentions behind it for a metaverse pushing for NFTs that have become worthless downright awful. Really wish they could just do another gundam breaker console game that’d focus on this cause the idea and setting for the game is there, and despite new gundam breaker I’m pretty sure a lot of fans want to see a return to glory for the game.
@@MusicFan752 I concur with your idea. They should have just released a new Breaker game which includes a "metaverse" portal where all players (Steam, consoles, etc) could meet up, show off designs, and buy new kits using in game currency or real money. If you buy a real kit, you also get a digital version which you could use the parts for your builds.
I don’t know what Lah means, but I like the super robot styling of it. It’s definitely a throwback to 70s style samurai themed super robots and I’m into it!
Honesty the Gundam Build Metaverse anime was a lot of fun with that and the new kits being the best parts of Bandai's Gundam Metaverse thing. Also it finally all but confirm that Build Fighters/Try and Build Divers/Re:rise are in the same universe.
I just got the EG Lah Gundam Shisaku Ichigata and found that it had all the equipment that the regular Lah Gundam has. Like the La Shield and Beam La Naginata, and Beam La Riffle (You'd just swap out its regular scope for the other). So you can have Lah Gundam Sangata's original weapons in Shisaku's/G3 colors. It's Awesome! 🎉
This is the only protagonist gundam i didn't buy in gundam build series but after seeing this vidoe i saw some good parts for custom building specially the shield, spear, head and shoulder.
I honestly like this Gunpla sure the show was short but I like it it’s a good take of a homage to the original rx78 now I hope this shows up in a update in GB4
Waiting for Kamiki's new close combat gundam. Caught my interest cause it resembles Master Gundam with the full cloak on. Shame the series is only 3 episodes.
Lmao why are the shots from the series in the beginning from the back. The subtle one on the background that was all a$$ had me rewinding and dying. Lol
He's talked about this on one of his organizing vids; basically, he keeps the bigger boxes (large HGs, MG boxes) and ones with art he likes to use as storage, the rest he just flattens and throws them in the recycling
I’m just shocked EG kits are able to master no stickers in the head consistently while only a very small little fraction of HGs don’t have it heck even MGs and RGs are in that boat.
Honestly, I feel like people were expecting too much from Build Metaverse when it only has three episodes and for said amount of episodes, how much they jam in them and how it is written is done great. Honestly, I have seen longer shows that have worser pacing and have more plot holes like unpopular opinion here, WFM is one of them and I liked that anime mind you. Anyway, the kit seems fine as it is just the EG Gundam anyway. Would prefer the base kit to be the Revive so it doesn't get as loose easily but it'll be decent painting pratice for the missing details at least.
what's kinda funny is how the name is pronounced as in "Lah" is the Hawaiian sun god but in Japanese because they have issues of differentiating "'L" and "R" they sometimes pronounced as "Rah" as in the Egyptian sun god instead of the Hawaiian sun god but still similar in meaning anyways, lol.

I remembered something about the thin red plastic on my MG Shining Gundam Shoulder armor are very thin and show signs of stress marks. Could it be related to stressed red plastic material almost non durable on the hip joints on EG gundams?
I’ve been building gunpla for a while now and I think they should have made the hips a peg socket joint instead of ball socket it would have worked better with these entry grade kit it would have been easier and more convenient for the kits just my opinion no judgement
