Just put a deposit down at my AD for a explorer 40, binging all the content i can and yours is the best at showing real world usage / feel and not just talking about case specs.
Congrats on putting down the deposit! The Explorer 40 is a fantastic choice-you’re going to love it. I’m so glad you found my content helpful; I really try to showcase how these watches fit into everyday adventures. Thanks for watching, and enjoy the journey to owning your Explorer! Cheers
Hi Cheyne The first shots of the Explorer in your truck show just how classy the Explorer is But the backdrop to rest of the video is just jaw dropping Thanks for showing this snapshot of you on your travels
Thanks so much for the kind words! The Explorer really is a timeless piece, and I’m thrilled you enjoyed the scenery-it’s one of my favorite backdrops, Yosemite to shot. Glad I could share a bit of the adventure with you. Cheers
Always a pleasure to look at your beautiful nature photos. The Rolex Explorer 40 is so perfect that it might be the only watch you really need. There is something special about owning a single watch and having many adventures with it over the years.
Thank for you for that. A very good point, this year I'm going to try and find that single watch (maybe two) and building adventure memories with that single watch. With all the travel we are looking to do this year, it would be a little silly of me to travel with my whole watch collection. Cheers
This watch is my daily wear regardless the situation … from interior on a house fire one day to a formal gathering at a multi-million dollar home the next. Truly a GADA watch.
Great video as usual and I can’t wait for the next one , I’m looking forward to later this year when I trek to Everest base camp and test my Explorer 36 in the -20c temperature and also I just got a new Canon Dlsr to replace my bridge camera for the trek so I need to learn how to use it properly especially as I just also bought a new zoom lense for it so your channel is perfect for me
Thank you so much for the kind words and support! Your trek to Everest Base Camp sounds incredible-what an adventure! The Explorer 36 is a fantastic choice for such conditions, and it's built to handle those extreme temperatures. Congrats on the new Canon DSLR and zoom lens! You're going to love the versatility and image quality it offers. Definitely take some time to get familiar with the settings and practice with the lens before your trip-it’ll make a big difference when capturing those stunning Himalayan landscapes. Wishing you the best on your preparation, and let me know if there's any specific photography advice or content you'd like to see to help you get ready! Safe travels and happy shooting!
I love my Explorer 40. It may be smaller than my submariner but the face and hands are a fair bit larger and easier to read. So comfy on the wrist. Ps. Say hi to Yogi from me 😂
Beautiful photographs of Yosemite; and the explorer 40 is such a perfect watch! It's such a versatile watch and just seems to fit in for any type of occasion. Too bad the explorer is still so difficult to find at retail.
Thank you so much for the kind words about the Yosemite photographs! 😊 I completely agree-the Explorer 40 is an incredible watch. Its versatility and timeless design make it perfect for both adventures in nature and everyday occasions. It’s only a 3 to month waiting list from what I'm hearing, worth pursuing for sure! Cheers
Magnificent images, awesome watch. One question - what’s your experience like changing out the bracelet on the Explorer 40? I had heard the tolerance is so tight it’s not an easy task.
Thank you for those kind words. I have no problems switching out the bracket on my Rolex Explorer 40 with an Artem strap. I've done it maybe 10 or so times, quick and easy in my experience. Cheers

Yogi tried to get my picnic basket.
It is such a great watch, and like you said legibility and the comfort is amazing. Cheers
Love your video and your work
My plan is to get my first Rolex this year. You are the reason that make me think it may be the Explorer 40.😅
Cheers, thank you for that. The Rolex Explorer 40 is a great watch, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I do my best, and I enjoy my job of capturing these amazing places and share them with you. Cheers
It’s raining in Yosemite in January?
@@nads7865 it does something rain in Yosemite during the winter months. This was however filmed in early December.
in 40mm it´s just a nice watch. 36mm gives it the X-Factor.
I like the 36mm, I just like the fit and feel of the 40mm better for my wrist and personal preferences.
I actually choose between Explorer 40 and Sub 41 (no date). I can not make the choice.
Both great watches, can't go wrong.
