My wife and I spent a day in Galway and loved it, it's a really nice city and the aquarium is really interesting. We have plans to visit the cliffs of Moher next time
Galway is a great city, small enough to walk around, loads of nice food places, bars etc. Co Galway is just so beautiful though. Hire a car and just explore. The Aran islands are really special too. Loved the drone shots in this one, great video as per always. Well done you two 😊
My friend from Galway told me about McDonagh's on my first trip there and when I did a bus transfer on my way to Clifden from DUB I made sure to leave enough layover time to run down there and get back to the bus! Also made sure to eat one meal there on a recent day trip to Galway. I cheered when you mentioned it! 😂
As a citizen, l enjoyed your video - Its pretty appropriate that a Pole and an Irishwoman are the joint presenters 🙂! I was distracted, but l didn't see mention of our two jewels, St Nicholas' Cathedral and the universary Quadrangle! As you know, Galway received almost zero investment under British rule (other than the universary and the waterways) and subsequently doesnt boast of many impressive buildings from that era! Galways greatest attribute is its charm, which you captured pretty well. It's uniqueness comes from its Atlantic coastal location incl the Prom, ocean sunsets and its historic dependence on the Claddagh. lts situation also benefits from the flowing Corrib river (the walk from the boat clubs to Spanish Arch is lovely) and the fact that it brushes against the Gaeltacht (historically at the Claddagh) with its proud trafitional Irish musical and literary heritage. The Spanish Arch/Long walk also has a great ambience from its links to sea and its medieval Spanish trading days. But, the most appealing aspect of life in Galway is its 'artiness (whether real or put on) and its middleclassness 🙂' where it is a safe, welcoming place full of the people that are generally "devoid of notions!"

My dad was a caretaker for Lough Cuntra Castle in the 1964, lived there as a child for a few years

Is there a place to do karaoke in Galway?
I honestly don’t know but if I had to guess I’d say it’s very probable.
