I hate that I missed out on this. eBay is ridiculous with them right now.
Neca is going to release another Ghostface with this same body, head, and cloak. It just won’t have the NYC accessories because this one was an exclusive. The wide release will have a Devil mask, flamethrower, and removable cloak.

@@Zacharyaliit actually won’t have the white crescent style mask. Similar to a Gen 2. That was also part of the limited edition run.

Always loved your reviews Spot! Glad I snagged this figure when they announced it would release on their site for a few days. That 55.71 USD I spent to get it to my door doesn’t seem so expensive now. I know your in Canada, but still stinks you had to spend so much. Still. Worth it! Thanks for the many years of great content!

These were also sold from the NECA Online Store during the NY Comic Con. They had Ghostface Takes Manhattan and Glow In The Dark Phantom Of The Opera. I think mine was $40 plus $11 in shipping fees. Always check in there from time to time. That’s also how I got my Retro Kids Meal Dracula and Frankenstein figures. Burger King included them with thier kids meals in the 90s. They were REMCO and each had a gimmick. Dracula glowed, Frankenstein had a translucent head, if you held him to the light the Creature From The Black lagoon spit and NECA loves making retro REMCO monsters. I also picked up the Halloween 3 Dr Challis with Tom Atkins signed Silver Shamrock Beer Coaster there for $75. The scalpers are trying to resell them at insane prices.
I recently got this and I can officially say this was the best Neca figure ever and the most expensive figure 😂😭

I decided to buy this on ebay. $139 before taxes & ~$152 after taxes. Even though the inferno ghostface just released & is essentially the same figure. I just had to get the NYCC exclusive version.
I think the Inferno is slighty different of a mold to this one also no? yeah I wish the NYCC version wasnt as expensive as it was, its probably the most I've spent on a single NECA figure

@michaelshape I think he bought it on Ebay. He mentioned having to pay through the roof for this, totalling over $100 CAD

I got this at the Oaks, PA Convention Center two weeks ago. I got a miniature rifle prop from Michael’s for it.

@@TheReviewSpot I actually got him when they were doing the limited online drops. Honestly, it was pretty exciting waiting for the countdown on the website. Sold out within 30mins. Unfortunately mine has a bit of extra material around the hood. Thought it might be a normal occurrence, but it doesn't look the case on yours. Might have to CAREFULLY trim it back.

I ended up doing that with the Thanksgiving John Carvers, I heard those were a site inclusive and put the pre orders on NECA.com as soon as I could because I didn't want to have another Ghostface situation and pay the crazy money for him on Ebay

What's the reason for the rainbow mask? Seems out of place to me. I've seen Scream VI but can't think of anything unless im forgetting
also, that "pinching" hand that you were using to hold the play bill, it's also used if you want to have him doing the classic pose where he's wiping the blood from his knife.

I believe the plain mask is based of a gen 2 fearsome faces mask. If they do a retail release it's more likely we won't get the standard face
This new Ghostface outright replaces the original. But they screwed up making it an exclusive. Maybe they’ll make a limited retail version like NES Jason.
Looks way too good to be an exclusive hopefully we get another release even if less accessories the robe looks good
The mask face plates are convenient, but the actual head masks from the older version look waaay more high quality
you think so? in what way do you mean higher Quality, like the plastic is better on them?
The other Ghostface that wasn’t released was announced over a year ago and we have no actual pics of it so I don’t think it’s gonna happen.

Ok, so I just got this figure off eBay and the left hand won't even stay in. It falls out way too easily and funnily enough, I had this same exact issue with the opposite hand on my Ultimate Ghostface. Does anyone else have this issue or am I just extremely unlucky with my NECA Ghostface figures' hands?
I really hope that this figure gets released as a “Ghostface Version 2” figure in 2024 and not glue the sleeves onto the arms.

It won't be on Amazon if its a Convention Exclusive, I'm hoping they re release this mold as a Retail version so people that missed out on this one the first time will be able to get it

yeah when I bought this one on Ebay after it was all said and done, I think I paid around 180 for it, way too much for a single figure, did you end up buying this one?
