I had a question, what would I do to make my piggie eat more other than the lettuce I give him, I try to give him blue berry but he refused, and I tried a Strawberry slice and he also refused, he also hasn't been eating a lot hay but he used to, is there anyway I can solve these problems?
Usually if you leave new veggies in with them they'll try them. I just take anything uneaten out the next morning since I feed in the evening. If he's not eating a lot of hay, I'd reduce the amount of pellets and veggies he gets.
Criticalcare/ recovery food, how much ml per feeding do you give and how many timea a day? It seems like a conteroversial topic that nobody is telling me a solid ansewr. is there a solid answer?
@@TheTinyHerd he's been suffering from some pretty bad bloat, vet gave him some trimebutine and metacam. He's half way done his medications. trimebutine last dose is saturday morning but the metcam for 3 additional days after... but he only weighs 924grams now ( last friday he was 874grams) but he'll sometimes take 28 ml worth of critical care at a time 4-5 times a day, I don't know if that's too much or not. Some say yes, others say no. lol the vet only told me to keep feeding critical care until I notice him eating his normal amounts of food on his own
@@fitzguineavision are you sure it's 28ml? I've never had a piggie willingly eat more than like 6ccs at a time. That what. Vet recommended I feed 4 times a day before and after a surgery.

something to keep note. if a guinea is not chewing, do not push meds,food,water ext cause they can get that stuff in their lungs which is not good.

If it's because your pig isn't eating just give them whatever they will eat. I usually do around a 1ml syringe at a time
