Squeeks going across the screen with Wheelie riding him was too funny

I love the fact that crosshairs trench coat goes from a solid piece of metal to a "fabric" like metal
But seriously though; these Transformers movie toys do not have a lot of paint on them. I remember back in the day when the Transformers toys from the first,second, and third movies had a decent amount of paint.

Why is it that the bayformers Autobots had more classic characters on they're team while the bayformer Decepticons only had Megatron and some generic randoms no one has ever heard of

I'm not sure if you knew this, but Crosshairs isn't an original character. He was an Autobot way back in G1.

An explanation for that gun not pegging in the trench coat is due it being an earlier copy, most notably, Crosshairs with a serial number #72081, but this was later fixed in Crosshairs 72011 iirc.
I am really impressed with this figure. I can not wait to get him.

His corvette stingray transformation from the 5th film is great with the black and green color scheme he is a great autobot commando I love this figure.
Good thing he now comes with two guns, and both sides of his vehicle mode is now painted. Only bad thing though is that he severely lacks paint in robot mode. Significant improvement nonetheless. 👌
Hey look, they painted both sides of the car this time. Got the Bluestreak repaint of his AoE self and gotta say, it's a cool mold, if a bit too shellformery for my tastes. I hope there will be an MPM version eventually, would snatch that up in a heartbeat. The C7 is a slick beast.

CelticMutt The toy from AOE is officially called Hot Shot. But he's painted in the same color scheme as Tracks.
It's named Hotshot, but it's in G1 Tracks' color scheme.

I would love to see a masterpiece Crosshairs, I absolutely love the Corvette C7 in real life. Not to mention that his overall personality, design and especially the green and black paintjob is very nice, everything about him is just too good.
TLK DLX Crosshairs seems improved in pretty much all the engineering areas that I had/have issues with in AoE DLX Crosshairs. The retooling is a pleasant surprise as I expected only changes in the alt mode shell. Now I am considering picking up TLK Crosshairs.

I thought the skirt thing on this character would cause tons of problems for the toy but it actually ended up working better than other character designs lol

I really don't like how the Bay-former toys usually end up becoming "shell-formers". I mean, look at the sight at 14:30 that's basically the entire car shells on their backs.
arkron81 Movie Transformers don't usually end up being "shell-formers". Crosshairs was specifically done like this on purpose though because of him having a trench coat in his robot design. How else do you make the trench coat? The only other way would be "parts-forming", which is WAY worse than "shell-forming."
Mindwipe96 i dunno how to make a trench coat but a cloth piece coupd be used and stuck onto his leftover backpack? But that would be difficult to transform
I'm quite happy that they painted the alt mode stripes on BOTH sides this time, not just the one xD

I'm a sucker for all things black and green. I also like the character and his whole trenchcoat-wearing badassery. His alt mode is fantastic and the bot mode is really good though of course he needs more paint aps. I might have to get this one though.

You and Chosen Prime had the same issues on tabbing his guns on the cape for storage, it was even the same side. Watch his vid, I believe he shaved some unnecessary plastic and it fit a whole lot better

If you took the paint of the AoE toy and combined it with the better remolding done on the TLK toy, you'd have the best Deluxe representation of Crosshairs
This figure has more accurate paint on the torso, in the movie he didn't have as much black as the AoE version on the torso
Crosshairs removes me of a person straight out of the 1920s and 30s with his pencilthin mustache, guns and overall appearance.

I hope one day we get a studio series or third party super accurate version cuz I really think that they could do away with the kibble for this guy by making his skirt/dress/coat thing completely made out of the car modes metal sheeting. Even this figure could have been way more screen accurate had they made the hood and windshield part of the car fold and tab into his side skirt pieces to make it look like a full on skirt all around instead of the hood just folding to be back kibble but this is a small cheap figure but I do see potential for a screen accurate version of this guy

tf5 didn't do as well as the others, Bay had already left and fearing that this one would have the same outcome as the fifth, the writers just decided to abandon the series altogether
All they did was push back the release date because The Last Knight was deemed a failure.

Since it's just a re-shell of the AOE version, couldn't you just get out your trusty screwdriver and swap out some of the parts from the AOE mold (like the biceps, calves and head) that have the black paint on them? That way you could have at least one figure that looks the way you want it. :)
You have some paint apps. Just pop the head & limbs off of AOE Crosshairs and put them on your TLK figure.

The head is definitely the same sans the light pipe and paint. The Legs are shell-formed under the hood and didn't seem to need reworking. On second look at the arms, I'm a little less hopeful, but you should at least be able to swap out the hands.

Hmm so hasbro is like you got silver paint and we don't do other paint but when they do go crazy painting and or coloring it they hardly put any silver paint on it must cost extra only thing I can think of

This version is way better than the age of extinction figure for both alt and robot mode but I wish they kept the painting in robot mode similar cuz this version just has way too much green. Even if they kept the arms black it coulda made this figure a lot nicer looking
Back here again before Hasbro reveal this as SS Crosshairs (hopefully with some extra paint).
Hot rod should have a more movie accurate masterpiece figure. And bumblebee and hot rod should have a war scene deluxe figure or masterpiece figure
Put a small amount of plastic model glue in the holes on the gun. This will cause a better connection
I'm going back and picking up these aoe/last knight figures now. Being how studio series reused drifts mold I felt it plus reprolabels should do fine. This guy looks better than I remember. Got the aoe hot shot but I guess I didn't appreciate them enough at the time.
