    I wish ALL HD dealerships had techs like this. Considering the cash your paying for the service, it would be better if you ( the client, who is paying a premium for the legend) would receive equivalent effort.

    Chris did the 1k on my 2022 Fat Bob 114. It cost less than what my Harley dealership wanted, but more importantly he did it when it was due. My dealership didn't have an opening for over two weeks.
    I am happy with my decision and am planning to reach out to Blockhead soon for a dyno tune. Thanks guys! 👍

    Best intro, period. Chris definitely needs to come out of his shell more often. Chris’ jacket is legit. LoL. This is mostly a Chris video and to have a guy who has the wealth of knowledge to actually check critical fasteners; it’s just awesome. If I had a brand new expensive Harley, I would definitely want nothing falling off. If my cover falls off going down the highway and I have to explain to my insurance company why my motorcycle cover is in a car’s radiator. And then I’ll have to check and purchase another one. I’m gonna get mad.

Always changed oil on first startup of a newly rebuilt car engine when it gets to temp or running in a cam. Factory HD manual for your bike should list critical fasteners. Yea I'm old school.

    • @jadeviper1290
      @jadeviper1290 2 роки тому +3

      At bottom, your friction zone will be way out at the end. Doing 1/2 turn will pull it in slightly, and 1 full turn will bring it in considerably. You will want to do 1 full turn to get your friction zone closer to the grip.

    Do you check the torque on the rear pulley bolts while your checking the belt deflection? My dyna lrs LRS pulley bolts loosened up at around 1300 miles. Blockehaed, great video. I'd love to visit the shop someday when I get down to FL. I have a quick question. I just bought a 2022 Road King and trying to decide what oil, primary, and gearbox oil to use for my 1k. I saw you use Motul. Any reason that over Amsoil or Redline, etc? At some point going to do a stage 2 with Red Shift cam and DK Customs naked intake ( want to keep stock look) and fuel moto 2 into1 into 2 head pipe. Already have Rinehart dbx45 for slipons. That's gonna be it for performance mods. Not looking to make a "performance" bagger. What are your recommendations for engine oil, primary, and tranny? I was going to use Amsoil, but I saw you use Motul and never thought about using that, wondering about your thoughts. Thanks and keep up the awesome content, and YES I am subscribed. LOL

    The question I have is why is the drive belt soo damn tight
    When bike leaves dealer as new? And why won’t Dealers
    Adjust to proper tension at the 1K check. I used a bright color nail polish to mark the proper hash mark for belt tension on my 19 RG
