If you’re wondering why, in phase 1, you’re firing a special through the gamma arc but the damage isn’t increasing immediately, it’s because he has to be knocked down to have his armor removed. If the special itself does it, golden. If the special you fire through it doesn’t knock him down, you will have to knock him down another way (parry heavy, etc.).
Thanks for letting me know! I wish I would’ve known that before exploration 🤪, but hopefully this helps some others, I’ll keep it pinned for now :)

Shang chi has a similar thing where he gives a volatility every time he removes his cleanse charges with heavy/sp2

I really was starting to get the hang of it with Valerie lol, then bishop came around and Princess carried me to those 8.2 rewards

But champs like Aegon and Attuma have a similar interaction. With slightly ramped up aegon, basically all his hits give bahamet a Vol. charge. so ya.
Not sure about the deal with bishop but ig something similar?!
Either ways, not needing to worry about those charges is super nice...
its cause every time he turns prowess into regen by holding block he tries to shrug a bleed, even if there isnt one. so he gains charges like that
the charges are gained with any attempt of purify, even if not successful. thats why aegon is so strong for the fight. hence even though there arent any bleeds to purify, he tries to and thus the charges are gained. hopefully this makes sense. technically this method could work for any champ in the game with a chance to purify any debuff in a regular manner
Yeah it’s really convenient, helps that bishop has crazy special damage too

@@johndeaux4761 A similar interaction occurs with stealth Spidey and his synergy with the Spiderman supreme synergy, every time steal suit dexes (even with no debuff) he still gains some of those charges
aegon still seems a bit easier. got his combo up to 150 before this fight and he purified like crazy. Was easier than my mole man and kingpin.
Yup .not to mention he hits like a truck. I used attuma , cause his concussions gets purified and bahamet gets crazy yellow charges, but i would still recommend aegon like you did.
Kabam has “fixed” this. He converting his prowess to regen no longer gives volatility charges. He still works decently though. Dropping his sp2 while Bahamut’s armor is down does some good damage. Hit damage is good and the incinerate damage is really good. Kingpin, Valkyrie, Molegod, etc still probably better options overall but Bishop is right up there IMO.

@@johndeaux4761 Ægon is kind of cheat code too. He cleanse debuffs on hits. Got a video from a friend of mine who takes Ægon with 300 Hits Kombo into the Bahamet Fight and on every hit he cleansed a debuff

What path is best + what champs to use on the path? I got 6* :nimrod herc tigra doom and 5* :aa apoc kitty longshot, all awakened except doom
And of course 6* bishop
Hate to say it, but Bahemet will probably be a Bishop only fight. I'd probably try and brute force the mutant path with the rest of your team, because that will give Bishop double damage specials against Bahemet while his armour is down for virtually no drawback.

His damage is so bad here the extra free purifies are the least mcoc can do.

not a bug dude. check the description of bishops regen, it includes a purify
and it doesnt require an actual purify, just an attempted purify. ive mentioned the full way it works in a reply below
I recognize this! And talk about it in the video, but his ability states that when an attacker purifies a debuff, he will gain a charge, not when the attacker attempts to purify, I do recognize it is behaving that way now but it’s just not as stated, could totally be how the fight was intended though :) anyways, thank you for going into detail about how his purify is working in your comment above, it was very helpful :)

This has been patched. Maybe edit title to reflect that it no longer works.
Not a bug, but in his ability, he purifies when he regens regardless of him suffering from a bleed or not.
He only purifies a bleed while bleeding, I think it’s a Grey area whether it’s bugged or not but in based on the description it doesn’t really seem like it should work that way, but I could totally be wrong about the bug aspect

This fight is way too long using Cable. Shang-chi and Kingpin take one third/quarter of the time.
Good thing we’re using bishop! :) but if you meant to say bishop I agree, but it’s much easier for those not 100% comfortable with the fight and saves revives which is the point of my video

Prob not dude. They just allowed people to keep 200k 6* shards for 1/10th of the price.
I doubt they will, just considering that it’s technically not performing as listed but bishop does have a purify in his abilities, they might not even be bothered
