Yay! I ordered the BB cream as soon as you showed it on insta and used it for the first time yesterday. As a combo skin, mature gal, I like it much better than the original. For me, it has less shine and my skin gets much less oily during the day. I also use color 4, and find it much less yellow than the color I used in the original . I love it! But as you say, it still has mega coverage, so just a small bit is needed. Thank you!

JI has such good performing base products, that it's no wonder they have been around for so long. Even though the BB cream is not my preference (because of the fuller coverage), JI still has a very good option for us who like light coverage. My forever favorite Liquid Minerals. It's a timeless product, and I can always count on it to enhance my skin.
The Liquid Minerals will forever be my favorite as well. I don't have much else in my vast collection that looks as good on my skin as that product.
Appreciate the review. The Glow time BB Cream 6 over Elta MD sunscreen is my no-fail Holy Grail combo. I don't like change-ha!

I’m only to the BB application and am already 😍. That looks great. I had the original formula and I think I’d like this one even better. Also, you have such great knowledge on Jane Iredale, everything that’s important and useful to know.
It definitely has a learning curve, but I am actually enjoying it. I have used it on many clients and converted them as well. Less is more for sure. :)

I love watching your Jane Iredale hey, Mandy. I thought of you the other day. I purchased the Copper Wind and Whisper blushes. I used Copper Wind in my crease with Whisper on my lid and then topped it with Peach Sherbet. Copper Wind was my blush color with a light dusting of Queen Bee over it. I looked at the finished look and thought I think I just created a Mandy look!💓

I have the skin tint, mineral powder foundation, a blush, a few lipliners, and an eyeshadow palette. The blush is my favorite - it’s so smooth and sheer and doesn’t look powdery at all. I like the powder foundation, and the lipliners, but the eyeshadow and skin tint I would not buy again. The skin tint isn’t what I thought it would be, I just feels like a regular foundation. Not sure why I don’t love the eyeshadow, I just never find myself reaching for it. Trying to decide on another blush shade - thinking of getting something more neutral, or maybe one with a shimmer.
I’m eager to try Jane Iredale blushes….the colors are SO gorgeous!👍😊 Though I must say that I wish Jane would have retained the original style of packaging, even if the formula was updated- the round compacts were so cute!
It was super cute, but I will say that this is much more sturdy in the packaging. There were many people who felt like they weren't getting what they paid for in the last packaging, and I think they have rectified that with this. xoxo

My favorite one and done eye shadow is JI "Eggplant". I use it constantly. I hope they've kept it in the new palette. I've tried a hundred similar shadows, but they just don't do it for me. Can't wait to try the new BB Cream. Great video!

This video came at the perfect time! I bought Cherry Blossom blush along with Cognac triple eyeshadow and Pure Basics and I am going to enjoy using them. I think there’s a gold single eyeshadow similar to the one you used. I think I’m going to need that one too! I really like the peachy/gold eye look that you did as it coordinates so well with the blush and lip. I appreciate your response to my question from another video about the Jane matte finishing powder. If I buy it, I’ll get the loose since you said the pressed can get cakey. Do you have a favorite non-talc finishing powder? Previously, I didn’t pay attention to whether a powder had talc, but after wearing the mineral bases and eliminating talc powder, I think my skin is improving regarding rosacea. Thanks for this video. I will check out your swatches on Instagram reels. They are so helpful, but then make me want to buy more!! I would love to see more videos incorporating these new palettes!

I know the younger ladies bounce between all of the socials, but nope, just don’t have enough time in my days for that. I know it increases $$ for the channel to have multiples, and I hope it brings success to all, but for me, I am coming to realize means don’t even watch the UA-cam version. Well, I don’t make a dime off Instagram so it benefits me none to switch it up between those socials. The reason I didn’t swatch 13 blushes in this video is because then I would get comments about it being too long and I should get to the point. I have learned that I will never be able to please everyone, but I am doing the best I can. I am sure there are many swatches on Google images that can help out. Hi Mandy! I can’t figure out which eye shadow palette I should get. I like mattes for transition/crease shades but prefer a bit of a sheen for the lid. Do any of the palettes contain both?

I have seen many complaints about the old packaging feeling very cheap and not worth the price paid. I am sure that had something to do with as well as making it all more streamlined.

The Whisper color blush is extremely shimmery and very noticeable on the skin. This is not the type of formula that buffs out to a sheen on the skin, it is flat out shimmer galore all over your face (I even tried wetting the blush--even more prominent). So annoying, especially when the shimmer magically migrates on other parts of the face.
I think it's a personal preference. I have spoken with people who love the shimmer because they don't have to use a separate highlight. I don't have an issue with it migrating personally. It does have "shimmering" in the description, but they do have many great matte options. Sorry it didn't work out for you!

You are so welcome! It is hard to choose. I wore the old one yesterday and it's so good, but I do think I prefer the more neutral tone of this one. I do think this one will be better in the heat as well.
Hi dear, I love your reviews. Could you recommend a similar product to the Original Glow Time bb cream from JI. I tried the new Pro version but to be honest it was really bad for me. Now I need to find a replacement to the original formula. So sad they discontinued the Glow Time in my opinion the BEST BB CREAM EVER!!!

Amazing Base is a foundation powder so it has way more coverage. The matte is more of a setting powder. :)

What do you think of the blush shade cotton candy? I have real fair skin with cool undertone. Would that be a good shade for me? I already have the shade barely rose. I know cotton candy has shimmer in it but is it too much shimmer or is it more of a sheen like Clinique blush pops?
I think it's good if you are someone who doesn't like a highlight and want a glow. But if you don't like visible shimmer, I would go with one of the matte ones. Copper Wind is beautiful if you like a peachier shade.
How do you prep your skin before? I find my skin has gotten dryer so the product clings to my dry spots more. The old formula was a lot more dewy. This one seems dryer. I like the finish but wondering how best to prep my skin before.

Hey Mandy! I have been using Liquid minerals and the older version of the BB cream and I am finding after about 8 hours it is coming off my face. Starts with nose. It is not staying long there. and then starts to break away on my forehead and chin over time. I have dry, sensitive, red prone skin and need the extra support of both products for hydration and the coverage...do you have any suggestions regarding the older BB cream coming off after several hours? Is this common? Anything I could do? I do not use a primer, as you stated we could use the Liquid minerals as a primer. So I use my moisturizer, SPF, and liquid minerals under the BB cream, using the stippling motion with a few drops over redness and set with pressed base on my more red days or loose base on better days. I set with spray too. I am sad it isn't lasting longer as it looks good in the beginning. I TRULY appreciate your suggestions and ALL your wonderful JI and clean makeup video. Thanks for your reply. Hey Laura! I am thinking maybe only using one or the other for the base under the powder might help. It may be a bit too much of the product that is causing it to break up. It is worth a try. I would love to know if this helps!
Hi Mandy! Would you say the BB cream would be suitable for oily skin? I’m not opposed to oils in my products, I use the YSL touché eclat primer and it has oils. But I wanted to see what you thoughts were.

Hi Mandy, how do you keep your makeup from moving or coming off when wearing sunglasses (especially on the nose bridge)?
I find wearing sunglasses without the nose pieces helps alot with that. If you still have issues, you can use a tiny amount of eye primer on that area before foundation and that can help some too. :)

It's more of a matte base for sure. :) It has about the same amount of coverage as the old one...maybe a tad more.

When choosing foundations, I usually try and go for ones described as neutral. But I can get warm to work for me if needed.

I love the texture and coverage of Jane Iredale, but after 2 tries of foundation, I gave up trying to find the right shade. Customer service was helpful but it’s just hard via pictures and not in person.
Hey Cheryl! They have many places across the country that carry it. If you go to their site, you can do a store locator and hopefully there is a location near you so that you can be color matched in person. :)
