i know how much you love JI’s products. i’ve only ever tried her lip liners and her blush (as per your recommendation) and i loveeee them!!! as for brows, i use a brow gel because of my mobility issues, but i used to use both a pencil and brow gel. that cream blush looks gorgeous, and i think we should wear OUR blush the way it MAKES US HAPPY, and the same goes for shimmer shadows. i will wear shimmers until i can’t wear them anymore. lol. i loveeee the taupe in the palette, and your eyes look GORGEOUS!!! i wish you could do my makeup!!! omg, bellini, magnolia, mulberry, sorbet, poppy, rosebud, and espresso are my personal favorites. 💗💗💗

I guess I don’t do a lot of blush on the apples of the cheeks; rather, just a hint. I have high cheekbones and don’t use a ton of blush, but if there’s a lot of blush on the apples, and you’re smiling when you out it on, the face goes down when you’re not smiling. And that can drag the face down a bit.

Lisa, you're absolutely right about the concealer. I am 61 YO (with oily skin but very dry under eyes) and this is the only concealer I've ever used that I don't have to set with powder. It does have a somewhat "glowy" texture once applied, not flat at all. And it has SPF 30! Question for you... I'm sure you use sunscreen under your makeup during the day (I also LOVE the Alastin!). How do you feel about putting the JI Tinted Serum over your sunscreen? I'm asking because it's a very watery consistency and I've often wondered if it might "dilute" or disturb SPF underneath. I know the Pure Pressed has SPF, but IMO not enough for good protection. And the JI Tinted Serum wouldn't be the only type of product I'd have this concern about... any type of very watery serum or foundation on top of SPF. Maybe they touched on this when you were at their event? Thoughts?
One more comment... I'm so surprised with your choice of brush to apply. Is it the 102 or 104? I thought you should always use a more dense brush for powder foundation?
She said she used the larger brush because she was layering the product since she had already applied the “tinted serum”…

Hi! It is not matte, there is shine but it is not a glossy formula. More of a satin finish

Meh..! Lipsticks no longer grasp my attention, no matter the brand. I rather spend money on a good base product, concealer, blush or eyeshadow. It has been a while since I do my makeup and I go with a gloss or lip liner and gloss, and that's it...
