5:05 that grouprange end=1 is a way nicer solution! I usually isolate end points by neighbourcount & P in a wrangle. But this is much faster and cleaner
I have a problem with houdini: - I have to think a lot and design visual script to get a model that can be modified. Is such a powerful editor only needed to create multiple copies of the same model? And if I just need to make a model - without modifications - it is a nightmare to make this model in houdini - because I can create a model in 3ds max in much less time. Question to professionals: - what can be the benefit of having a model that can be modified?
For example you need a same object with little variations but you need them like around thousand. So can you model a simple thing 1000 times which will takes you forever or you would spend some smart time with Houdini and become Top G.
@@venomlovekitties Yes - i understand your idea - i can't make 1000 such objects nonetheless i don't consider tiny-transormable-3d-model as anything interesting
@@Staglaitor Thanks for understanding my idea but you said tiny transformable 3d model. Well here's another example used in almost every Hollywood titles which are crowd or flocks of zombies and to animate thousands of them like you see in World War Z has it's own beauty. Or you have seen different buildings or whole city which have been procedurally modeled by Houdini. Sky is the limit, you can do wonders in it.
@@venomlovekitties It's cool - but nevertheless I would prefer houdini-model that has a huge transformation potential with little amount of efforts - can i get it in houdini?
Thanks for remaking the tutorial so quickly, this is awesome and super helpful!

@@Staglaitor ask Rohan about it, maybe he could answer your question. But for me I am not a professional.
