And this right here is also what SNYDER meant when he said the no kill mantra does not make sense if either Batman or Superman never gets pushed to the limit of killing, and then the haters lost it coz how dare Snyder say that the no kill rule is useless
Superman kills someone at least once every 10 years or so, feels bad about it and says never again. Then a new writer comes along and repeats the same storyline. Superman isn't Batman.
People tend to forget that(in the comics) while in the suit, Superman fired a gun at a man and then caught to bullet just to make sure the guy felt true fear. He also took care an abuser when a young boy cried out for him. They tend to think it's not in him to scare someone into thinking things over again. Also, he's learned a few things from Batman.
In one of the earliest comics, before The Bat-man even, he once carried a gangster with him as he ran along high-tension electrical wires. Mostly for giggles. Early Superman was a bully and a jerk. I think he mellowed out around the time The Bat-man stopped using a gun.
The level of absolute restraint shown by Superman is commendable. He used enough force to be understood that this will never happen again. If he uses the slightest bit of anger minimal the guy has a broken arm.
This is why he is the most powerful man on earth, all the restraint it took not to smash him like an eggshell or send him into orbit, the speech he made to Darkseid in the JLU episode Destroyer explains this very well. Well done Clark
@@TheMovieHooks Considering the power that Superman wields, everything is like cardboard, that delicate and so easy to break, if he didn't hold back there would be nothing left - this was in the comics 50 or so years ago and it showed Superman and Batman fighting some crooks, Batman was punching them, meanwhile Superman was just standing there and hitting them lightly with his finger and faking a yawn. That is just an example of how powerful he is - at least 50+ years ago.
I absolutely love it when heroes take a moment out of their selfless schedules to get just a few moments to flex on others. Doesn't have to be major or life-changing. But imagine this dude... gets by in life intimidating others and usually getting things his way with violence. Now all of a sudden he meets a dude who doesn't even flinch when shoved (in fact, shoving the dude pushed HIM back), but now the dude has him held against a counter to the point that no amount of struggling is even getting an inch closer to freedom... and the dude isn't even breathing hard. Clark turned this man's world completely upside down in one interaction. He'll be waking up in a code sweat for at least five years after this.
It looks like he's just pinning him on the bar, but from the reaction, I suspect it's a *lot* harder than that. I imagine that Superman being able to hear and even see bones and joints allows him to go right up to the edge of injury.
This is my favorite scene out of the whole series. He may be from another planet, but it shows Clark at his most human. People always think of him as Superman, but at heart he's really just Clark. (It's like Bruce said in the Justice League movie, "He's more human than I am.")
This is what i like from clark, he is indeed superman and he has to respect, love even forgive everyone that did something bad to him. But if someone threaten his family, he will act as a father and husband not superman. That is called justice.
Umm no? His son was hit, his wife threatened with a gun, yet he slightly pushed the man's face against the table? Justice? HAhahaha wtf Jusitce would have been jail for a month, at the least, after a beating.
Oh yes. Even accidentally, Superman can eliminate this guy from the universe. I remember a quote (not sure where) where Superman opines that being Superman is like living in a world where everything is made of cardboard, and you have to take great pains not to break it. ;)
If you really think about it, how would Superman build muscle mass on Earth? You build muscle tissue by causing hypertrophy. It's micro-tears in your muscle fiber from lifting things right on the limit of your strength that then heal by growing new muscle tissue to close the gap/tear. What could Superman lift that would create micro-tears in his invulnerable muscle fibers? If you think about it biologically, he would probably look about average, if not skinny. Maybe a build similar to Bruce Lee. Not some jacked dude with giant muscles. But that would be boring...😂
@@Mr.BusterHighmanLiterally has the ability to perform superhuman feats of strength since birth, yet you claim he has no way of building muscles. Come on, man. 🤦♂️
I’m gonna miss this show. This was the best “reimagining” of Superman ever. Kept the CORE of the character FIRMLY intact while imagining a new world for him.
I love that momentary "Oh Shit!" and confusion on his face when he realizes Clark felt as solid as a wall, and moved just as much. He momentarily realized he was in trouble and that punch was probably both anger and desperation.
Bruce is watching from afar, shedding a single tear of proud joy as he hid the piece hof Kryptonite to his utility belt that he thought he'd have to use.
He pulled a gun on the woman who said she wasn't scared. Superman is fiction, so you're really saying "bullies always back down when confronted by a bigger bully"

Sorry my friend, but they wouldn't even reach Voyager 1. Here's why, and I asked ChatGPT: Q: How quickly will a human without a space suit burn up in the atmosphere if Superman grabbed and send them flying at past escape velocity? A: If a human were to be launched at a speed exceeding Earth's escape velocity (approximately 11.2 km/s or 25,000 mph) without the protection of a space suit, the outcome would be catastrophic due to several factors: 1. **Air Friction and Heat**: At such high speeds within the Earth's atmosphere, the air friction would generate extreme heat. The temperature around the human body would rapidly rise to thousands of degrees Celsius due to the compression of air and the kinetic energy being converted into thermal energy. This is similar to what happens to spacecraft re-entering the Earth's atmosphere, but without the protective heat shields they use. The intense heat would cause the body to burn up almost instantaneously, likely within seconds. 2. **Pressure and Structural Integrity**: The rapid acceleration and exposure to such extreme conditions would also result in the body being torn apart due to aerodynamic forces. The human body is not structurally capable of withstanding such immense stresses. 3. **Timeframe**: The timeframe for these effects would be extremely short. Upon reaching such high speeds, the heat generated would be enough to cause severe burns and then complete incineration within a matter of seconds, well before the body could reach the upper atmosphere where air density is lower. In essence, the person would burn up in a fiery destruction almost instantly, not surviving the initial few moments of exposure to such conditions.
@@thevegastan who said anything about throwing? Slowing flying as the upper atmosphere becomes to sparse to breath, but that's what you picked up the oxygen tank and respirator for. Taking your time through the thermosphere causing microscopic third degree burns, then finally after 30-50 minutes reaching the negative pressure of the near vacuum. Not actually freezing instantly, but rather the vacuum basically insulating the heat of the remaining cellular activity, turning a typical meat suit into a slow cooker, while every orifice is turned inside out by extreme negative pressure. Then you circle around to the sunny side, give the trash a nice firm toss towards the sun, just for a good measure.
Imagine the incredible restraint Clark / Kal-El had to use just to put that bad man's face on the counter and not through the counter. We're talking thousands of one percent of his strength. Amazing. Loved this show ! Thanks for the video .. All the best !

This is the moment Clark realized why Batman acts the way he is... And the most important tool that he would use: Fear
Didn't expect for 1k comments...thank you so much everyone... 👍👍🥳

Bro, it's the moment he decided to call Batman and apologized.
His fear of bats made him a Batman, and now he weaponized fear among the criminals in Gotham

"Back in Black" was great.
LMAO, the way he bounced off clark when he tried to shove him. 😂😂🤣🤣😂 What an HEDIOT.
Yeah
@dolly4359 like in the 2012 Superman vs The Elite animation.
in an old show Lois & Clark: The new adventures of Superman, Superman (a.k.a. Clark in the supersuit) did exactly this (the bullet feat) to Luthor
@@r3l1csvk I remember that show!
😊

What is the name of the movie@@TheMovieHooks
This is why he is the most powerful man on earth, all the restraint it took not to smash him like an eggshell or send him into orbit, the speech he made to Darkseid in the JLU episode Destroyer explains this very well. Well done Clark
Humans like cardboard eh?? 😂👌
That guy should try that with homelander's son.

Proof Superman cares about his super family
You have to admire how much Clark held back here even in his anger, because this guy does not get injured.
That's what makes superman a true hero the amount of control of the use of his strength has to exceed the amount of his compassion.
This is example that how every man, dad, husband should be
Including you 😊
It looks like he's just pinning him on the bar, but from the reaction, I suspect it's a *lot* harder than that.

Justice? HAhahaha wtf Jusitce would have been jail for a month, at the least, after a beating.
the amount of self-control is insane, like actually incomprehensible
Oh yes. Even accidentally, Superman can eliminate this guy from the universe. I remember a quote (not sure where) where Superman opines that being Superman is like living in a world where everything is made of cardboard, and you have to take great pains not to break it. ;)

I always thought Tyler Hoechlin was too small to play Superman, but I like this scene. 😮
Well
What does one say
If you really think about it, how would Superman build muscle mass on Earth? You build muscle tissue by causing hypertrophy. It's micro-tears in your muscle fiber from lifting things right on the limit of your strength that then heal by growing new muscle tissue to close the gap/tear. What could Superman lift that would create micro-tears in his invulnerable muscle fibers? If you think about it biologically, he would probably look about average, if not skinny. Maybe a build similar to Bruce Lee. Not some jacked dude with giant muscles. But that would be boring...😂

Sorry my friend, but they wouldn't even reach Voyager 1.
Here's why, and I asked ChatGPT:
Q: How quickly will a human without a space suit burn up in the atmosphere if Superman grabbed and send them flying at past escape velocity?
A: If a human were to be launched at a speed exceeding Earth's escape velocity (approximately 11.2 km/s or 25,000 mph) without the protection of a space suit, the outcome would be catastrophic due to several factors:
I love him as Superman 🔥
Honestly, there are few F-ups bigger than getting Superman pissed at you...

Rule #1 ...Never and I mean NEVER screw with Superman's family.....it won't end well

This isn't 20-something-year-old Clark Kent, nervous and awkward reporter at the Daily Planet.
This is 40-something-year-old Clark Kent, semi-famous investigative reporter _and farmer._ You don't fuck with a farmer.
My cousins were all farmers. I was a high school wrestler. They won a LOT more of our matches than I did. And the only matches I ever won were against 3 and 4 year younger cousins.
It's an insane level of casual every day strength. Don't fuck with a farmer. Even one a foot shorter and hundred pounds lighter than Clark Kent.
There's a Superman who gave up his powers. A Lex from a different universe tried to sock him and got reminded that, even without powers, he's a farm-raised brick of a man.
I remember as a 75 pound kid going from hay bale to hay bale and dragging over to the wagon any bale I could manage to move, hour after hour, day after day, and my 100 pound grandmother would come behind me and drag over the bales I couldn't. Then she would toss them up on the hay wagon. Farm kids aren't farm kids. They are all a combination of power lifter, marathoner, and gymnast. It's wise to remember that.
