They really messed up with the Goyf deck. They made a bunch of new jund dragons and a dinosaur but theres still only 11 Goyf? Silly.
The thing people keep missing about that deck is that it isn't a Goyf deck, it's a JUND deck. It is the Jund-iest deck to ever Jund.
Reminds of the Eldrazi Precon from Commander Masters. Calling it an Eldrazi deck was practically false advertising.

The Simic deck has outperformed expectations in every game I’ve seen it in so far.

Cloudpost is basically a pseudo wincon in that Omo deck. The deck is very complicated out of the box but it has some very cool lines to victory that are different than most Simic decks.
It’s great to see you so excited for the 100k milestone and always nice to see you experiment more with videos. I laughed a lot at the questionable threat assessment joke and it would be cool to see you guys take the precons and create a small meta environment where you iterate on the decks being played together each video

4:28 I could be wrong here but Im fairly sure that Arca could tap the Urza land for extra mana here because the Planar Nexus is all the Urza lands. I haven't warche the rest of the video, so I'm not sure if you caught it or not, but I wanted to mention it! Love your videos!
I believe you're right! It was a new card, so we may have missed that interaction.
Have to admit it's a really pog interaction. So many things might be discovered and done with that commander

Great game! Just one little thing though. In the early turns of the game, when Arca first cast Omo, he had just played a planar nexus. That should have enabled his urza's power plant and he wouldn't have needed to tap but one source of colored mana to cast it. I don't even know if it matters I just noticed you guys missed it and decided to mention it. Anyways great work as always!

Congrats on the 95K. I bought a collector simic deck, and it's pretty good. I closed out a game by having a billion mana and using that copy sorcery to make tons of acidic slimes and wiping the board lol

That Arca play was very spicy, and from what little I saw of Umo the deck as is could def benefit from better ways to use all that mana generated.

It would come in with the counters as well. You need to do the Thespian Stage + Dark Depths combo to make it work.

@mtgmuddstah - can I place a request to maybe have two different speeds for highlighting cards. I guess for those known to everyone, the current display settings are nice. For new cards, while I don't expect you to read them out - I feel especially given text are getting longer and longer, you might want them to stay centered like 1-2secs longer and not even shorten the time, because gameplay is already at the next card. Maybe I'm just getting to old, but by now I can't bother to know every new card WotC is dumbing on us every 1-2 months. Thanks for reading and considering :)

Why didn't Arca have Vesuva come in as a copy of his Dark Depths? 😵 🐳
It would have come in with the counters as well. The reason Thespian Stage and DD work together is because Stage is out, THEN becomes a copy of DD. Since Stage didn't come in as DD, it doesn't get the counters.

Great game! I was annoyed by that Terastodon land destruction play, but Arca still getting taken out first in the end made up for it and the game shaped up to be very even and exciting till the end.
Do you have anything special planned for when you get to 100k subs?

They honestly should have just called them "changeling" counters and errata'd "changeling" to include non-creature permanents...
That is why you don’t use terrastadon like that, just get yourself hated out of the game.
I was mostly excited by the Goyf precon, weird that there is not many in the deck, there is only one changeling. I feel like it was more a commander take of modern jund (with Bloodbraid elf) than an actual Goyf Kindred deck.
They put a liliana, 2 bloodbraid elves, 10 goyfs, 3 broodmate dragons and stuff.
It is jund at its' peak!

Coran is better than Disa as goyf's cmd... Disa is cool to bring them, but they aren't heavy to cast and the every player mill if Coran they became stronger faster
Again, jund is the best of the batch, but the one with less hype because people thought it was a goyf deck.
But in the end, it is THE hommage to modern Jund Whatever.
Now a precon game where Arca doesn't ruin the whole thing

I understand that the players wants to win but Arca did just a jerky move. There was more target on the field and with that move we didn't see how the eldrazi deck can work, that was the meaning of this game i think 😅

Quick feedback: destroying land is really bad and unfun. The eldrazi player was never in the game due to that therastodon. I stopped the video on that play. Feels bad for the other players. I think the purpose of commander is to let anyone play their decks. To be honest, I did not see this intention in this game :(
Ngl, huge dick move by Arca with that land destruction. Like you guys are trying test out the precons to show case them an this dude is gonna blow up lands? I get it during regular games, but again, you guys are trying to show what the precons can do out of the box. Whack in my opinion happy ya'll could recover from that, and show case a decent amount of the decks.
Terastadon was scummy. You guys lost my sub because of that. Im all about high power decks but when you are trying to show off decks to the public nutering a deck is a dick move.
