I think its important to note that double strike will make a token for each hit per player so its worthwhile to give your creatures double strike if able to make more token
That’s a good point!
It does?! But how does that work? If attacking with more than one creature the same player doesn't create more than one token, why double strike would?
If only.
Double strike essentially means a creature does first strike and normal combat damage. First strike has its own damage step this allows our commander to trigger twice. Once on the first strike damage step and the second time on the normal damage step. 😁
Hell yeah man! As soon as I got done watching the video I went to the comments to make sure someone mentioned Double Strike and First Strike.
I kinda like the OG 4 mana Lhurgoyf just because it's all CREATURE cards in all graveyards instead of all card types. This means that with some mill he can get absolutely massive, which is quite powerful when you run things like Altar of the Wretched.
As a Boomer Jund player, I immediately pre-ordered this precon! I love the budget upgrade, too, but I'd also like to see a high-powered list.
Prespoiler season, I was super excited for this deck. Post spoiler season, Omo intrigues me the most.
Omo is my favorite tbh due to the shenanigans with Lords of all creature types and a 2 color Maze's End deck but I also bought this one too. It seems powerful.
With the inclusion of mask wood nexus in the deck, I had an idea of mixing cards from the necron dynasty deck as they mill cards and require getting rid of cards you control for stuff.
1.Imotekh makes tokens
2.Szarekh will net you two cards from gy with disa on the field.
3.trazyn can use any artifact abilities that get milled on accidentally
4.szeras adds black mana equal to a creatures mana value.
5.chronomancer is draw power for a creature sac.
I got a few of these cards already. I'll put them right away
I like most of this. You do mention extra combats and there are some cheap cards to enable those. Grim reapers sprint and great train heist at minimum, maybe scourge of the throne. Another way to get double tokens is double strike and the red double strike enchantments are quite cheap pieces.
Mesmeric orb goes nutty in here too 🔥 changeling outcast is a goyf that cant be blocked
I made inclusions of things like vicious rumors to start my goyf plan, but i went deeper on boomer jund. I even added Bob, powercreep be damned.
Shoot, gonna need to commission an alterist for a universes within variant of The Master Multiplied, that’s just nutty

Imagine entombin' Iname death aspect with maskwood nexus on the field.
I think people misjudge this precon as a weak power/value. But out of the 3 (eldrzi is out of them) I think Graveyard Overdrive is the most brutal and efficient. Ok, you don't have 25 Goyf creatures because they are like slivers, they are self sufficient and they hit really really hard
Imo, they intentionally nerfed by not giving a full goyf themed deck but an aggressive deck with a goyf subtheme
The reprint value is pretty solid also!
I still think switching to the undertaker, digging through your deck with dredge and mill, to get some reanimator loops going will be more powerful

My first 3 cards tossed in was buried alive, urborg tomb of Yawgmoth and filth, buried alive for filth and anger unblockable and haste is Op
Im surprised to not see a bit more black mill in the deck, and with even a bit of dredge natively you could add in a Jerard golgari lich lord so you can fill graves and use a card like mortivore or cards similar to consuming aberration where they gain power for all cards in graves and thrn sac them to jarad for massive damage all across the board
So hyped for this precon!

Disa creates Tamogofy tokens (tokens that come with deck have defined mana vallue). Would Tarmogofy tokens count towards devotion to green?

Dump a lhurgoyf in de yard, get it for free on the field with haste, and you May cast a creature from the yard as well
Like your direction a lot may rethink my upgrades.

Just play this Deck as Combo deck with morality shift and pyrogoyf. You just need disa on battlefield and pyrogoyf+ loads of goyfs in your bib, then tutor+play morality shift and 1 shot the table with pyrogoyf entering with tons of other goyfs at the same time. GG
