I remember when she was ranked #1 in all Korea's top visual, almost every year. Of course Yoona had more #1's, but Jiyeon was always in the Top 3 back then. It would always be Yoona, Jiyeon and some super famous actress that had a face of a goddess.
Back then visuals are supposed to be the center of the group. Nowadays, centers and visuals are separated, which doesn’t make sense anymore. Like, aren’t you supposed to be the face of the group? Not to drag Jisoo or Tzuyu, but despite their outstanding looks, once they come up on stage, they got overshadowed by their fellow members... also, for non-big 3 groups, they all look like commoners or just pretty high schoolers/college students that you would see. 2nd gen visual idols are ppl that normal ppl wouldn’t even come close. These visuals got compared to actresses too. A whole different class.

This is my first watching the choreo in depth on stage and i'm now realizing that Bae Yoon Jung was the one that did the mirror choreo with Jiyeon at 0:30 !! Plus the fact that she danced with her on stage the whole times is honestly iconic! This isn't probably the first time a choreographer has joined on the stage as a backup dancer, *but I'm still SHOOK in a good way!* God blessed her because she's such a well respected choreographer and mentor in the industry. I'm just going to assume that she was the only one able to do that part since she probably composed all of the choreography for Jiyeon and she worked with her 1 on 1 for that part anyways too.
one hell of a performance, a combination of dance and technology. This must be a very tight timing problem, just a few seconds too fast or too slow, can make the visual harmony chaotic
