    The fact that this guy is really good in snooker and is trying to recreate the shots while being at home, very calmly, having time to process the shot, thinking what he needs to do and is copping a shot made in a tournament with all the nervous atmosphere shows how good the BEST players in the world are.

      That reminds me of a shot Ronnie had to take years ago on a max vs Mark Williams. Shorter distance, but the angle was close to straight - on the opposite direction he would've liked. Superb shot.

    2:39 I think with Selby's shot the difference in lines comes just from the TV-table reacting to the top spin with a little delay and also cue ball making more arc after hitting the cushion

    I was at the event on Friday and Sunday and the tables react differently to a club table, I was on the cue zone table and the cloth is finer and a slower speed makes any backspin react more than the thicker fast cloth of a club table. I normally can only screw back a few feet at best but a mid speed shot I played hoping to screw back a few inches the ball screwed back almost 4 ft.

    hi, i love your videos!
    i think that probably the fact that the cloth that is used on the professional table is knit and barely played on is mostly why it's more common for the cue ball to get further on the table. nonetheless, fantastic to see the effort and dedication on recreating those incredible shots, keep it up:)

    For me, this tournament was Ronnie's magnum opus - basically, the work of his life. We all know he's nowhere near the player he used to be, but he dug so deep, kept grinding away, used everything Ray Reardon had taught him on the tactical side and somehow found the breakbuilding that he does better than anyone else...and, most impressive of all, he managed to get his brain on-side as well. I genuinely didn't think he'd win a tournament of any kind again, let alone a major. This, for me, is his greatest achievement.

    I'd love to see BFL recreate a shot live against a Pro Player.
    So a Pro Player does a trick shot and you recreate it live on the same table. Some pre-game shenanigans.
    With +300k, you're probably one of the most popular Snooker Channels on UA-cam and i'm sure someone around Matchroom, WST etc. follows your channel as well, so its possible to make it happen. What do you think?

    The mark selby shot looked to me like you needed the blue to be closer to the baulk cushion. This may just be perspective but that would swing it wider to the middle cushion. Where you played just looks too close to the yellow spot compared to the actual shot

    • @mikebest634
      @mikebest634 5 місяців тому +1

      Yep , my tables heated with the Hotwire system on a Hainsworth match cloth ,the balls just float around the table like on air ,the games much easier .I leave mine on 24/7 as it uses less electricity than the heaters and the table acts like a giant radiator and keeps the room warm ,deep screw and top spin shots are so reactive with a lot less power .

      @riazmukadam6678 5 місяців тому

      @mikebest634 u knw wat I played it on a cold night n ur rite whenever I was walking by the table I cud feel the heat off it. But spot on with the tops n screw back reaction is on another level. I cudnt point a finger 2it n u hit de nail in de head, the balls just float around! Felt amazing. 🔥

    1:02 what are you on m8? Ding was LEADING Allen 5-4 so even if he didn't clear the table Allen could only cause a deciding frame. Ding wasn't out of the tournament if he didn't make that clearance.

      @@darktherapy what i wanted to say, you can play certain type of shots with certain cues and specs, a heavy cue will generate a different response than a light cue, same as a stiff will generate than a whippy cue, most importantly can you play the exact same shots with 9mm tip and 10mm tip? he is able to play all types of shots with almost certain accuracy, so his specs intrigued me though...
