I’ve definitely had a frame playing my mum where more points than that have been scored but I wouldn’t call it a tactical masterclass 😂
These are great highlights to have in short form. I love the tactical battles as much as the big pots but watching an hour of this frame is challanging however condensed into 20 minutes its a masterclass! :)
You just have TikTok brain. Both long form and short form is obviously best.
@@kb_devwhat you talking about a tiktok brain couldn’t even make it through this. Anything over a couple of minutes is long form for them
TikTok brain couldn't even make it through the advert before this video. Idiot.@@kb_dev
When it's live, it's compelling. In a highlights package when the result is known not so much.
@@kb_dev"Both .... is obviously best" ...... eh???
Mark was clean shaven when the frame started
and only had one chin
Good one😂
Phenomenal exchanges like this are a great reminder of what the game’s name suggests. I enjoy this easily as much as the great potting we see these days.
This is proper snooker. Best frame of snooker ever.
Better than wilson vs mcgill?
10:37 That's why i love Williams 😂
Funny I hate him cause of this 😡
@@dilksjoelI hate everyone
@@dilksjoel silly boy
Absolutely marvelous, snooker at its best.
One hour & 195 points, amazing frame!!!
This was the best frame of the whole tournament. People who don't appreciate this side of the game and only watch for break-building, simply don't understand this sport. It's like a game of chess on a green baize.
Hendry and Murphy don't want this. They are obviously wrong.
Utterly amazing
In the last frame of the semi-final between Kyren Wilson and Anthony McGill at the 2020 World Championship, the final score was 103-83 (total score of 186). Wilson didn't bother to pot the final black, which would have made the total score 193.
12:30 - girl in background texting "yooo at the snooker fam and these man still be tippy tappy the green five hours later"
That was brilliant! Thanks for uploading chaps. I love quirks in sport.
Something really special happened here. Hard fought win for Ding, congratulations! Trump - Ding should be interesting.
Ebdon would still be on his first red.
Yeah, as in the break.
Worst player to pick up a cue
Love an extended bout of tactical masterclass.
The person who groaned in the audience. You should be thankful you’re getting to watch this live and proves you’re not a proper snooker fan.
Just wants balls potted continually. Snooker’s not always like that.
Totally agree. A moment of shame from the audience.
It’s called “snooker” not “potter”.

If, Clive Everton had been in commentary, he’d have been appalled.
It’s symptomatic of the current world we live in where everyone wants everything fast. Now. The social media generation. They need instant dopamine hits and gratification. This is proven by how popular UA-cam Shorts, Tick Tock Reels and Instagram Clips are.
Sad.
*bout
The groan was for turning down a very potable chance and not about not appreciating tactical play, Dings negative approach a couple of times, cost him the frame. It was negative play.
No doubt it will be remembered👍
Credit to Hendon for knowing what the maximum points record was! Many commentators (many ex-world champions, it has to be said) just show up without knowing or having easy access to the records.
Brilliant. Thank you.
I was hoping they were both gonna score over 100
Imagine Williams making one more foul from that last difficult snooker, hitting the black, for a score of 76-101. Williams then goes on to clear the table, and we see a respotted black at a score of 101-101. Final total score would have been 209 points. The possibilities...
14:00, cant believe someone moaned!
Супер фрейм!!!!
This type of snooker is always beautiful to watch imo😊
Super snooker
Where is the full frame?
1:50
Is this camera only available at certain events - or why is it not used for repositioning the balls?
Perhaps that's the view that the guy is using to direct the ref. In truth the best way would be some sort of way to project that camera view with the coordinates to the real table. I would've assumed that a laser pointer system would be doable for many years. But I guess world snooker thinks otherwise
For me it's more interesting why they don't use some sort of projector that would make a projection of last position on the table. I don't believe it's impossible with modern technologies. It would make position recover easier and more precise
@@Alequez97
There would be easily ways to do that - maybe with a laser pointer - but I guess they have to use stuff that is available at any location.
So I assume if it’s not recorded for TV and/or no second referee with a screen at the table the ref will simply guess it.
Maybe I am wrong about that - haven’t read any details about that topic - but I guess they have the second referee for TV events because it bothered viewers if the repositioning is too far off.
Imagine losing a frame with 94 Points
absolutely daft frame. love it.
Bloke was asleep in the crowd @10:25
He scored 94 points but lost the game. I thought it Was a joke
Amazing............
Now 195 points is a lot
Jesus Christ!
Yes its record funnily enough
Crazy stat! Snooker has some weird moments. For example... in the Trump vs Selby match there were two consecutive flukes. Stephen Hendry said he'd never seen that happen before.
@@raygorf735pretty sure Steven had 7 consecutive flukes when he won the wc
I can hardly believe frame-by-frame scoring records have been meticulously kept from the pre-TV era. Do they really know the highest score ever?
😮 Wow wot a frame of snooker
The jinxed green on the day 🟢😮
class
🔥💥👍🤩🤯
14:10 he should had definitely potted that, natural angle to go to the brown
Not really, it's too thin, you need loads of right hand side and bounce the top cousin to get there, too hard
Great win for Williams onto the next tournament. ❤
Williams lost 5-6
6-5
@@user-ii4sk3zy6b THanks - corrected!
16:41. Why does the ref need to move the black first?
This is facinating from a social point of view. In the time of Fred Davis the audience would have been riveted. We have butterfly minds now that want constant stimulation. People on their smart phones for gods sake
I was in the audience, both me and my partner loved it, people around us seemed to be really into it as well. Comments heard in the lobby after this, amazing! Don't judge the whole audience by a few loud chancers.
Sometimes you have to play positive. Ding should have taken that green on
Almost like the frames my friends and I play..
I could have watch 3 ronnie maximums with time to spare in the time it took to pot that green lol
question what was the previous record for one frame?
192
@@ryandavies7978 From a score of 108-84. That 84 was also the highest losing score ever, before Ding's 94.
What's the lowest points to win a match ,,,not including the 3 fouls on a red rule,,,I think I've worked it out at 17 points
23 would be possible to win a frame. Take 14 reds without colours, one red with the green and then yellow and green to give you 23 points with only 22 remaining.
@@tomspeltincx9567That wouldn't end the frame. You'd still have to clear to pink. Otherwise there would be an eternal safety exchange
@nakke3 my kinda frame
No player a brakes off pots all the reds and goes in off ,player b pots yellow green brown ,player pots pink black ,,
@@tomspeltincx9567 if it was possible player brakes off pots all the reds goes in off ,then it's 4 points to 0 ,then work out the colour
Well Ding v Trump should be very interesting now!
I'd say technically many of those points were not so much "scored" as awarded for misses. Maybe I'm nitpicking... 🙂
Obviously. It's impossible to have that high a frame points tally otherwise
Sad to see Mark williams lost interest the fun is gone
FACT the longest frame ever was over 2 hours long
Vaguest fact ever
probably selby
Yes Gilbert and O’Brien
Well i know for a fact i have personally played a frame that has lasted well over two hours. What you mean is longest frame played by professionals
Hoping that Ding would've won that frame.
I'm sure he's more than happy to have won the match.
thanks for upload, *#&$^&$^# 🤬eurosport only broadcast 1 quarter final and 1 semi final (including the replays=same game)
Has anyone won eight titles Neil Fields Ronnie tomorrow
wtf at all the coughing - its like a bronchitis ward
🤣
Динь набрал 94 очка, но проиграл. Странно звучит.
Beyonr cringe willams doing the most with his face expressions 😂😂😂
I've seen a higher scoring game than this.
The game was cricket.
Marks like a stalker, pots singles and makes opponent think they are ahead even if scores ahead, when suddenly marks ahead and wins,he creeps up on you,he's best at single pots where they add up and catch you out
No to się trochę pobawili :)
fked ding doesnt play just make safe
Дин сыграл неудачно стока вел и отдал.
Most people asleep in the audience too.
Zzzzz
😂
The kind of people that don't respect high quality safety play and go to see balls being potted
I was in the crowd and couldn’t take my eyes off it. Same with most of the live crowd actually and those that were sat on the opposite side of the wall were glued to the screen when Trump/Selby concluded
@@BlazeyTV ikr, like difference between chess and checkers..
why didn't ding pot the green when he could and finish the table when he was one point ahead exactly?
Couldnt get position on brown id guess
