    That’s a lot of clean up, next time get your leaf blower to clean off your tables and the floor, so much easier for you. Your greenhouse is all clean and organized for next season. You are such a hard working woman. Looks good!

    You need a blower to blow your debris, dolly, and a back brace. My back is aching watching you. I would also try a shop vac and vacuum, I hate sweeping projects. Ready to start all over next season. 💕💕🎶🎶

      Oh for sure! I use a leaf blower in both my pole barn and house garage and it works great! And if something is a little wet it helps dry it up as I go!
      Jocelyn, you can blow off the tables first then the floors and be done half the time, you’ll love it. Plus some blowers have two speeds, so one is softer blowing vs more vigorous air blown. I promise you’ll LOVE it!

    My husband watched with me last night. I can tell you love the challenge of hard work. Who needs a health club, etc. when you get all the exercise a person needs by doing your jobs around your business.

    Hi Jocelyn, love your videos. I just watched Northlawn Flower Farm, I Immediately thought about you. There was a tour of a dried flower cottage ( very nice). Your family is so talented and I know your brothers can build you an 8x8 or 10x10 cottage for you to dry your flowers by using peg boards for the walls.

    • @plantlifefarm
      @plantlifefarm  8 місяців тому +1

      I just watched it! Thank you for sharing that video with me! I love her cottage, those apple crates where she stores her vases are so cool and the peg board on the side! What a great structure to have for your work space and flowers! I would love something like that! Like a 10x10 I think would be perfect! I am going to ask my brothers how much it would cost to build something like that! My brothers built us a deck this past summer and we got a professional company to give us a quote on how much it would cost to build it and after they told us the price I was like well I guess I’m not getting a deck :( and then my brothers said we can build it for a lot cheaper and they built it for half the cost! Thank you for this great idea, maybe someday I could have something like that too, that would be a dream come true!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

    Lots of grumbly bears today! I think your process works for you and that's what matters! I often do things the quiet way, too, because it's more peaceful and enjoyable.

    Oh my heart breaks for those frozen plants. Maybe next year hold a cheap sale for teachers right at the school for the leftovers before a freeze. Sell right out the back of the truck. Ask the Principal for permission and Blessing. Or donate them to nursing home patients and use it as a tax write off.

    • @plantlifefarm
      @plantlifefarm  8 місяців тому

      It’s the hardest thing I have to do each year. It breaks my heart too, that is a really good idea to do a cheap sale or donate them to the schools. Teachers would love them in the classroom I bet! And nice for the kids to see them too I think! I never thought of that, I should do that next year thank you for that great idea! 🥰

  • @SpareMeDetails336
    @SpareMeDetails336 8 місяців тому

    why let them freeze? You could sell or give them away before shutting off the heat. Thats a waste of a good plant and kinda sad too.

    • @plantlifefarm
      @plantlifefarm  8 місяців тому +1

      That is such a good idea to give them away, I never thought of that :( there was an idea to see if the schools would want them like for the teachers and office staff and I could take whatever we have left at the end to the schools and see if they wanted them! I bet the teachers and kids would love having them in the classroom! It’s really sad to me too, I think I can figure out a plan for next year on donating them.

    Hand truck is that what that thing is called, the dolly? I call it the husband! Why do it yourself when you can get the husband and you can get it done when you want. It doesn't smart talk back and it is a backsaver! My retired husband...is even calling it that! I have moved a lot of stuff, in the last 30 yrs while he was at work!

      I think it’s called a husband lol 😂 jeff was cutting and stacking wood all day that day and I wanted to get it cleaned so bad!! He said he would have done it but I just thought I’d try and do it! It’s so hard to wait sometimes when u wanna just get it done! I probably should have waited and let him do it now that I look back on it! 😄
