I don't think that's a gmt complication at the 9. I believe it's just a 24 reference for the watch itself. It does not track a second time zone (afaik).

Correction: Outside of telling time is a complication. Telling time is not a complication. Also I say Seamaster when I meant to say Speedmaster.

I bought one for $1400 from Japan in excellent condition. Unknown service history and it stopped working soon after. I sent it for complete service\overhaul and cost me nearly $1k but even at a grand total of $2.5k it is still a fantastic watch and well under the cost of even a used moon Speedmaster, with a still respectable design, history, and movement.

Your correct about the depreciation, for the most part. Depending on what brand of watch or reference, the moment you take it out of the AD it can go up in value. Black bay 58 and some Rolex's to name a few. Quite a few other brands as well.

after using this watch on daily basis when does it really requires servicing?
M.A.I TraiT for me, only if there’s something wrong with it. Servicing replaces parts so why not just wait for something to go wrong and then service? That’s my opinion and not a popular one. Thanks for watching.

How do you set up the GMT?
It’s not a GMT, it’s just a 24 hour hand that follows the main hour hand, sometimes known simply as an AM/ PM function.
It cannot be set to a different time zone so therefore cannot be used as a GMT complication.
