Does this ladder work with all The different Spoilers on the 4th gens or just the standred spoiler The 4th gens have the sport models have different spoilers? 25:00 @Victory 4x4
You know it would be amazing? If the instructions in this video matched the instructions in the PDF on your website. Or, if either of them matched the parts and pieces that arrived in my driveway.
The PDF instructions will always be the most up-to-date with any product changes and the videos are only a guide. If you are having any issues with the installation, please reach out to our customer service team and we will be happy to help: www.victory4x4.com/CTUS.html Sorry for any confusion.
Perfect timing, my ladder comes in next week! One question tho, for 5th gens do we also need to remove the plastic cover panel of the hatch to install the bottom ladder bracket? Thanks!
Awesome! No, you will only need to remove the plastic grab handle on the bottom of the hatch. Check out the written install instructions on the product page!
There is a version of this ladder for 4runner 4th gen without spoiler, in the video it does not look good aesthetically at the top for those who do not have a spoiler, I would like to get one
I installed mine on my T4R 4th Gen and that thing is butt ugly on my truck... IMHO, too many screws and parts, it looks like a cheap erector set. Even with the "heavy duty hatch lift" installed, an extra $100, the hatch can barely stay fully opened with the ladder on so, forget about adding anything to the ladder, even a shovel...The bottom step is useless. Really not happy with my purchase and I took it off right away. I could not return it so I sold it on Craigslist the next day.
Was it really that bad? was just about to get one for my 5th gen black on black 4runner. This comment raises an eyebrow though. It does have a different style, but being a modern vehicle I almost thought I could do it considering that tubular style ladders have been around for decades.
@@pyrathian For me, it was an eye sore on my 4th Gen 4runner, was way too heavy (steel) and not functional at all. If you plan a rear steel bumper, this ladder will be mostly useless. A light tube ladder would do the trick if all you need is an easier access to your roof rack.
This has not been our experience with the heavy-duty struts. We'd be happy to offer additional customer service or tech support, but it sounds like you no longer have the ladder.
Timing is perfect! Ordered mine today.

Antonio,
On the 4th gen, the ladder mounts under the spoiler, so it’s not an issue.
It is an excellent product. Should be compatible with the swing arms.
Could they do it?

Does this ladder can fit to 2021 4Runner trd pro with oem roof rack? Thank you
Yes it will
Love the look, wish there was a no-spoiler version. Mine doesn’t have the spoiler
it works with or without a spoiler.

That license plate though?? B*** H*** Yoda? I dig the ladder though, great work guys!!!
I would think if you recommend 3M paint pertection tape on this, your roof rack etc. It serious already come with it for $1,400
$1400? its listed for like 400 on their website. Where did your numbers come from?
3m tapes costs 1500$
so the 4th and 5th gen ladder is the same?
It is not the same. We have a drop down menu option to select which.
The size of that bass speaker box though.
Whats the capacity I'm a fair size fella
Man that looks good. Too bad I don't need one :(
🤣
Omg wish i watched this before ordering the ladder :(
Ladder for sale lol
Why?
You want this ladder
Will this work for the 2017 Lexus GX 460 if Not please make one :)
It won't but there is a good chance we will make one.
@@Victory4x4 Take my money ;) Also front bumper for GX 460 please
Looks good.
My 4th gen doesn't have a spoiler, so how do I mount it?
It will include two upper mounting brackets. One for models with a spoiler, one for models without.
what is the measurement? is it the same as the 5th gen? 4.5 inches?
Rather than measuring, you would use the hole for the spoiler to locate the bracket on the 4th gen.
Does it work on the 4th gen with the spoiler hump?
Yes, it's designed to go under the 4th gen spoiler.
