Launch Behemoth was truly a sight to behold, quite possibly the most broken subclass we've ever gotten for PvP and rightfully nerfed. But man, was it FUN. Just flying around with the super, being unkillable and having it last 5 centuries coupled with the insane movement of shiver strike + cryoslide. Fun times, man.
The sounds, the speed, the violence, the momentum. Everything about Behemoth is so satisfying. Even the journey of me learning to play it is so rewarding. I love the Stacy Lock though as well.
@D2Buddhist The super is fantastic! It's the ZERO damage resistance you have while in it. You can get killed by a Peashooter from a single opponent 🙄 . It has to have the least damage resistance of ANY other super in the Game. Well, that's Bungie for ya! They always overkill shit. When a Scalpel is necessary to fix the injury, the use a Nuke.
As a behemoth main, stasis ability recharge time needs to be buffed including the super. Tier 10 intellect yet I only get the super towards the end of close matches is crazy to me. Movement speed needs to be buffed as well
I tend to use a "glacier" build, using either Cryo-77k or Agers, with the highest grenade and class regen I can get. It's a bit more support/area denial than pure dps, but on the extraordinarily rare occasion I play pvp, I do pretty good.
I remember when this subclass first dropped and how good it was especially how fast the melee would allow you to move. After watch this I might have to make a PvP build for it again as the only stasis subclass I play is Warlock as it’s insane good at countering most things in the game
Been a Behemoth since it launched in BL, I love behemoth, its so much fun imo compared to the other subs. Set a goal to hit ascendant with it and honestly the amount of messages I got along the way from ppl asking why im still on behemoth and not running bubble or arc titan lmao. Behemoth is so satisfying
Bungie said they would have some changes coming to stasis next season, and behemoth is the only titan subclass I would still play. I wish the slide skate could be with any weapon(not just 2 handed weapons) and the melee could have a much shorter cooldown, and let you keep half the charge if you just use it for movement(don’t hit anyone) this would also make it feel less bad when you whiff with it
After watching this video I wish Sunbreaker in its current iteration had a fracture of such power. But where Solar flame is unable to cope, Stasis ice finds its way
If you really wanna get silly with Behemoth I learned that Wicked Implement creates 2 stasis shards from destroying a stasis crystal if you have tectonic harvest. Run this with howl of the storm, whisper of hunger, rending, and rime, and you can infinitely spam the melee to give yourself a free stasis overshield before any fight. Recommend using with ACD/0 feedback fence as well as stacks on stacks and elemental trace on the legs.
My Heart is all Behemoth...❤ I never played a day of D2 PVP until acquiring the Behemoth subclass and joining in on a MAYHEM Playlist... I had never had as much fun in all my days of D1 and D2 😂. I mean, I could literally walk down the entire apposing team while they shot at me and merk them all. The Mele was so Locke on. The movement was amazing plus with Dunemarchers. Woo-hoo!. It was surely broken but some fun for us Titan mains.
Well, coming next season, Stasis WILL be getting buffed, and new things added like the same treatment the starting classes got this video and song has re inspired me to play behemoths again, even thought I'm an arclock main, when they nerfed anteus I lost my drive to play, a beautiful and one of a kind gem, an exotics that felt truly exotic, nowadays most don't but anteus always shinned due to its unique interactions and playstyle, the only sliding exotic as well, streamers like purechill were the reasons they obliterated it, rip anteus. I love buildcrafting and making niche builds vaible but how can a behemoth player compete against a high elo (2.0kd) bubble titan stack w tripple smg snipe? I mainly play 3v3 and have been trying to make it viable in trials but I have been struggling and moved to other classes, any thoughts?
btw im simply saying that on equal terms, i could win the 3v3 50/50 but if im playing behemoth into stacked void titans, i feel like im at a huge dissadvantage

I have a few where I launch supers like arc strider and sunbreaker off the map, which is hilarious to watch 🤣. Hated that it keeps getting nerfs, but it will always be my favorite. The only reason I don’t use Cadmus ridge is because that helmet is ugly asf 😭 but I’m sure it’s a fun playstyle
You made me realize how much movement we lost with Behemoth getting nerfed. I was hating on it like everyone was, but unlike Cancerdive and whatever the fuck Shadebinder is Behemoth was actually kinda cool
I stand by the fact that cryoclasm should function like shatterdive or icarus dash, as in you shouldn’t need to build up speed but it’s on a 5 sec cooldown. also the melee sucks balls and needs a buff

With a bit of skill, and the desire to show all who I encounter, that stasis isn't just a subclass... But the TRUE subclass of soul and strength. started using behemoth this weekend (only because i’m one tier off that juicy quad 100s with it) and ngl i found it horrible played like 2 dozen games and super would get like 1 or 2 kills if any, enemy’s freeze for a mili second and can’t instant kill them from frozen with melee and the super goes so fast. i played way more passive than you are tho since i was leveling a sniper so ima try with sg like you are in this video but i remember maining it when it first came out and it’s sad how terrible it is now in comparison
No doubt old behemoth was way too strong, but I definitely miss the fun factor I think it mostly suffers from an identity crisis in pvp? like out of the stasis subclasses behemoth's whole shtick is supposed to be making and shattering crystals but the crystals have been hit so hard with nerfs that they barely feel impactful so behemoth ends up kinda just the being the slide-cancel subclass with maybe diamond lances sometimes. Don't get me wrong it can still be viable and fun in the right hands but no other subclass needs that level of understanding and commitment to have fun with. Idk what would fix it, maybe an aspect rework to add increased crystal effectiveness to one of them? would enhance the identity in pve and allow it to exist at all in pvp (just gotta do something about that one crystal spamming fireteam build or that'll get out of hand)

Picked up behemoth recently and I cant seem to take it off. Theres a lot of potential in the class we just have to take advantage of it. Stasis weapons (with headstone ideally) help tons in making it feel better

Behemoths are terrifying to play against. They slide so much and so fast that makes pre nerf anteus wards look like child's play. You'll be hunkered down behind cover and they'll Tokyo drift around you and make your day miserable. I don't want that to be nerfed cause that requires skill.
