Fold the raw edge inwards ,then it will look neat.

Hi I am in the process of making two of these. After sewing in pockets you show sewing both seams together. However, after doing this you have a raw seam when folding the top over like you would on any garment inside out. AM I missing something - I’ve watched and I’ve watched PLEASE HELP
