A sorority is a super creative and fun way of incorporating innerstar u, having them be adults while still dorming together, AND having them still be "sisters"!!! And the name Alpha Gamma Delta being the initials for AG Doll is just the cherry on top! Genius!!!
I have no clue how I was able to dream this all up honestly🤣 the creative juices were FLOWING!!

I loved math so much as a kid. I used to do extreme long division problems FOR FUN. Then i dropped out of pre-calc my senior year to take more wood shop classes🤣 glad I did though it’s way more useful that the quadratic formula or whatever
This is so fun and nostalgic for me!! I used to dream up dollhouses all the time!! Sadly it's not really a priority for me right now but I am really excited for you!! Don't stress out about it, just have fun and it's going to look great! I don't think the "funnel" issue will be a problem once you get it built, but if you were worried I think it would be neat to connect the living room and kitchen more and put the bathroom more to the side. 😊
I drew up the design again and I switched the place of the living room and bathroom and I like it a lot better. At the end of the day it does make more sense to have the living room and kitchen next to each other. Dreaming up dollhouses is my favorite thing
As a sorority girl, we always loved having matching shirts with our letters on it. So you should get AGD shirts for all the girls 😍

I’ve been making my dream dollhouse plans for a while now. My plans keep changing too. I can appreciate this.
I moved from a one bedroom apartment to a two bedroom apartment several years ago. I went through a sketch pad designing the AG house I could make once I moved!
I ended up not doing it due to space and having multiple types of dolls and several other houses and structures for smaller dolls.
I loved the dreaming and my doll room worked out the way I wanted it to be. I know when you have more space, you will create what is most important to you in that space.
This is such a nice comment! These ideas are still subject to change since I don’t know what kind of space I’ll have, but I’m so excited to make my own space for my dolls and just have a place to go (that’s separate from my bedroom) to do things with my dolls!

My own AG " house" is just several deep shelves with a couple of foamboard walls to divide the rooms. Julie, Addy, Kit, and Melody each have their own bedrooms, and there is one bedroom with bunkbeds that are for the modern dolls. I also have a kitchen, but instead of a living room I have a community center with a fireplace, a homework/craft table, lockers and a foosball/ping pong table. My dolls are elementary school age, so it's more like an after school place.

I am so fascinated by AG dollhouses! I never thought of having or making one because, in my era, it was historicals only and they were all from such different places and time periods… Also this was before the internet so I guess i didn’t even know it was an option. 😂 This video is making me really excited to see what you put together! Thanks for bringing us along while you figure out all out!

I love the house!! Love the idea of a sorority! That's perfect. I was thinking about that with my dolls too. They're sisters but look different, have different names and eras even but sisterhood feels right. That is very clever. My college was an all women's school so we didn't have the need for sororities but we had our own "sorority attire" that was the Greek letters Sigma Mu Chi (SMC) which were the initials for my college and we had the slogan for it "no pledging required" because campus was like a sorority as far as the sisterhood not the crazy partying lol.
I think it's cool that there would be like different chapters of your Alpha Gamma Delta sorority at different "schools" for like different doll groups. Like could be an unofficial AGIG/AGtube type sorority thing with different chapters. Sorry that was rambly and hope I wasn't over stepping for thinking that.

the sorority thing is like the words i’ve been trying to find to describe my doll stuff for yearssss hahaha. you’re just like me, i map out my dollhouse way too frequently. i’ve had it for a year and it’s still not right! one of these days i’ll figure it out.
It takes SO much time to figure out the perfect blueprint for a dollhouse. It’s a bug commitment so I feel that it’s important to get it as close to perfect as it can be!

So I have a doll house that’s huge and tons of stuff I have 24 beautiful dolls (2 boys) and my inspo was the same but we have built it in peices so it’s easier to move and to change out and to add on!

I think the sorority idea is cute. I also think it’s really clever to tie-in Innerstar U. I also like the use of the American Girl Doll initials as the Greek letters to name the sorority.

I LOVED graph paper as a child and spent a lot of my childhood making house floor plans (looking at it from above, not from the side like your dollhouse - but I understand that works best since you have multiple floors). So fun. I think that's really cute that they'll be sorority sisters and I hope they don't have any wild parties. :) Can't have them getting hauled off to jail. :) Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks Beth! I play Sims a lot and my favorite part of the game is designing houses. So I’m really excited to make this and be able to decorate it and make it my own!

I loved this video! A sorority is such a great idea. In my head, my dolls all go to the same school too. I would really like to build a doll house but the thought seems overwhelming. I love your glasses. I just got new ones as well. I also love my American Girl dolls. I don’t have room for a doll house. But, I had to put a lot into my condo. Maybe, in a year or two, I will get built in shelving in my bedroom.
I want to get some shelves to display my dolls, but hopefully by the end of this year I’ll have my own place and I can put them in then
