Here, down on earth we evolved with gravity "for free", as a special bonus that we could not get rid of. The body can benefit from gravity pulling blood down. Without gravity, the body has to make up for it. Plus everything circadian rhythm is pretty much not there up in space.
Well I'm sure that NASA weighed this up when they stranded two victims in space.. after all, if they die shortly after returning to earth.. as with veterans 'nout to do with your service'
It's been well known since the dawn of space travel that some gravity is needed to stay relatively healthy. I find it concerning, that the most important experiment has still not been done, but it's been opposed by NASA since the discovery. It's like spending billions of dollars learning how bad cancer is for you, but not spending a penny on treatment research.
Thanks for your coverage Maximus. It seems that all of the space-focused channels fail to mention such critical issues because they are so desperate for subscribers and know that bad news turns people off. You, on the other hand seem to focus on honesty and full disclosure, like a rare few. I, along with the rest of your subscribers (I am sure) appreciate this about you. News and facts are just that - good or bad. What we do based on those facts is up to us. Thanks for giving us all the facts, as you find them, and clearly noting when you are sharing your personal opinion (which we also value and appreciate). Space is always trying to kill us. It is harsh - like the deep sea. It is only when we are armed with facts that we can have a chance at making it safe(r) for human travel. Keep it up.
Yeah, reduced gravity is a death sentence. If a colony on Mars is practical they better work out artificial gravity. Same with the moon. Not great news.
I followed the "Rudder Hard Over Problems" on Sky TV and was appalled at the inactive response by Boeing. As you said, tests were eventually completed with Dry Ice to cool the Actuators. I thought all the Actuators had been replaced. Now years later the Aircraft are still flying with this fault in the Rudder Actuators. Fantastic, If I had a choice, which I don't I would prefer flying on Airbus.
If the US Government had put on the big boy pants and talked with the Russians about hitching a ride on Soyuz, the US astronauts would probably be home and would not have to worry about health issues. Astronauts Lives Matter!
Didn't Apollo 14 astronaut Jim Irwin develop a heart condition caused from dehydration and lunar gravity that may have caused his premature passing due to a heart attack? Maybe unrelated but still a heart condition caused from space travel.
I don't know if I want to go to space 🚀🌌 Sunnie and Butch was seen hitch hiking 🥾 across space saying there's no place like home 😔😔😮,, great job Max you are the man 💪💪💪👍😎🚀🌌
Atrophy of spinal stabiliser muscles are also significantly impacted after just 21days. It's the reason long term space station astronauts returning to earth don't get up and walk around after landing..... because they can't. They're not functionally capable of it and they're in boat loads of pain.
Humans are not meant to live anywhere except Earth. Its way harder to try to get to another planet and live there, than just fix our own planet. You want to go to another planet? Send a drone, and strap on your VR glasses. Done.

they werent sent up by nasa, they arent stranded, and they arent victims
Is it any wonder why aliens don't look like us.
The moon is made from mascarpone cheese! It’s a giant cannoli!

Very insightful as always. Another complicated issue explained where even I can understand it.
Max,
I have to complement you on your presentation and writing of a rather complex biological subject. You did well. Congrats.

Amazing Editing Maximus 👍💖
As usual.. I love it.. well done. Very informative 😮
Thank you

Can they do CPR in space?
Thats a great question.
Didn't Apollo 14 astronaut Jim Irwin develop a heart condition caused from dehydration and lunar gravity that may have caused his premature passing due to a heart attack?
Maybe unrelated but still a heart condition caused from space travel.
A participation at an Hollywood movie can harm the heart?

Heart disease is the number one deceased. So no statistical anomalies here 😕 all nominal 😊
Glad I'm to old to be one when I grow up.

Space is disheartening…
0:50 I’m pretty disappointed you didn’t use the specific “powerhouse of the cell” phrase…
Well I'm going to postpone my trip to space and the moon until they figure this out
Question, what is Soni and Butch doing on the ISS? Just hanging out, watching the earth go buy, watch TV???
From space sure
probably caused by the coof koof shot, lot's of issues we see today resulted from ye ole safe-n-effective
🤔🤔
Space or the government j a b

Send musk to Mars to validate findings
Space or the vaxx ??
This stuff will continue. No one cares. Aussie Bob
I'll bet the ETs could help us with this if we would only calm down and love peace like they do.
Not All E.T's are Benign...
@@regdor8187 Yes, that's true. But I hear they are being disabused of staying in this sector!
Pure bullshitt!
Ya Think?
@@maximusaviationchannel
Probably not.
