This is a mess, game is patched so frequently that nothing really works, and some mods are simply not updated at all. Version dependencies really suck....
@@restitvtor439 Some files lack the unblock checkbox. Those ones should already be okay. If that doesn't work, the mod itself may not be up to date enough to run on the game's current version. Can't win 'em all, sadly.

It gives me the pop up "Upload files" I've done everything in other videos to unzip or uncheck. But i don't have the option on dll. Properties. I've got the correct versions. Now I'm installing 1.6.2 And putting update 1.6.2 But none of my other works cuz their not the same either. So how does that work? This is why I hate nexus mods or mods on the websites. They always have these types of specific issues that needs multiple help. It's worked before the Eagle rising mod. But until now I been having issues.
@@bluesteakmanflesh131 If there is no option to unblock it then the file doesn't need to be unblocked. I found that some mods can have a few .dll files and only some of them needed to be unblocked. If there are no .dll files that need to be unblocked, it may just be an issue with compatibility between your game version and the mod version, or perhaps you need a specific mod order for multiple mods to work at once.
I'm not getting the unlock option... o.O Edit: Didnt think about the reason why i didnt get the unblock option xd mods work Only thing is whenever i start up the game it says certain mods are loaded before/after a certain thing (think one said sandbox) and that i should close the game and fix it but no idea how too… So… So far i have just closed them and played :)

I gave up trying to mod the game and then I got tired of playing vanilla. What a shame. Even when I was installing clean version of the Bannerlord and then apply correct mods according to its version and stuff I was getting crashes. It's frustrating like hell especially when you dont have enough spare time to play. :(
For me the fix was uninstalling, deleting everything that was left and installing again. The reason for problems was a file that I replaced when the game just came out and the mods where primitive. This file was never uninstalled
I'm kinda late to the party but this vid definitely helped.. just not in the way I was expecting. My load order changed on me and that was my problem. I just recently bought the game and tried to stick to your instructions but my folder looks different from yours. It doesn´t have the modules folder nor the modding folder. Any ideas? Yesterday I had a total of 11 mods along with Harmony, Modlib, UIExtender, I made a printscreen of the sort order, I was using Vortex as mod manager, I played a total of 5 hours, every mod was working perfectly. 2. Today, using the same Vortex, same sort order, 0 updates & 0 changes to anything (Game, pc, vortex, mods), at the first launching attempt, the game stopped working giving me the error "The application faced a problem.....". 3. After one infernal hour of research and trial, I managed to get it going again....How?I REMOVED 3 of the existing mods (Detailed Character Creation, Dismemberment and the unexpected Modlib). 4. It works perfectly fine again, all mods are working properly. 5. Question.... Why didn't the game work today like it did yesterday with the 11 mods on? Even though no changes were made?

I've tried installing M&B2B about 3 times now and given up on modding it after it crashes even before it can properly launch. I've only installed the most used mods (in all time) (harmony, butterlib ect.), but still i't doesn't work. First of all, i cant find the "unblock" when i click on properties, and there are several mods that does'nt have a DLL-file. It's such a good game, and SO frustrating not being able to mod it...!!! Any suggestions?
Followed the instructions as provided. Downloaded the files, unzipped them in modules. But, when I went to play the game, they didn't even appear in the mods section?

I'm honestly disheartened even further by this video. I don't have an unblock option in my DLL files properties under generall. Like the page looks identical to yours EXCEPT there is no 'security: unblock" option. Even under the security tab there is no unblock option. I've looked literally everywhere and there is no unblock option. Is there something wrong with me? Idk. But i'm literally just trying to run the calradia at war mod. That's it. Just one mod. And it's not running. It says it can't verify the files, and then it crashes before starting. This is the case with almost every mod i've tried. 80% of them say "could not verify' with a red exclaimation point next to it in the mods menu at startup, and then just crash the game and all I did was download them into nexus, boot up a fully updated version of bannerlord and go so idk wtf I'm doing wrong.
That sounds like an issue with the mod or compatibility. I just checked the forum and not seen anyone else posting that same issue.. Maybe try a fresh download or trying it with no other mods
Just start playing, then save the game in a new slot before cracking. Exit to main menu and start playing again with the new saved file. It will work fine without cracking.
@@politicallyincorrect2564 i bought the game eventually, lol, it worked just fine mod author updated his mod intentionatelly to 2 versions above the newest cracked version in order for the mod not to work on pirated copies of the game the problem was that the mod was using updated modules from the official release, so there was a module mismatch
so i have no clue what happened. played it with tetsojin yesterday and it was working fine. went to install another mod and everything broke. keeps saying stuff like "requires story mode (-1,-1,-1,-1) " etc. loaded and ran mods through both the bannerlord mod launcher from nexus and the vanilla launcher. none of the DLL files are blocked( no option to unblock. unblocked the rar files). ran through everything and nothing even has an unblock option. been doing test runs with modlib, butterlib, MCM, and harmony, but even if i just run modlib by itself, the game crashes 1.5 seconds after launch (yes, i timed it). everything i have is up to date for 1.5.10 and its just utility stuff. ive spent 9 hours trying to troubleshoot everything and im getting tired of this sht. if theres no answer here, im just gonna run vanilla and not touch nexus anymore.

strange never seen that before, could be that when you unzip the file, you can unblock from there? otherwise I think there may be mods that can unblock for you on nexus. Or if you're using a Mac or a different version of windows maybe try googling how to unblock DDL files on your system
Haven’t been able to get the game to work with mods in over a year now so I just quit playing it. It worked fine for months and then now no matter what I do it won’t work at all.
I can't get Harmony to work, even when I dumbed it down I pulled the file directly and placed it into the mods section, unlocked all the dll and nothing.
All this and my game still crashes regularly. Just corrupted my save file too. Tried to fix with a reversion and now the games stopped running whatsoever 😆 Reinstalled the game from steam and it kept the old files with the bad win_64_client so now even on reinstall my game doesn't even reach the first loading screen 😭
@@charlesvillarba8288 yeah, if you go right click the game on steam, go to properties, go to beta, and then "Select the beta you'd like to opt in to" that should be all the game versions if im not mistakened.

I’ve downloaded harmony and all the required mods to download the dismemberment plus mod and I’m pretty sure I have them all loaded in order and I can on all the mods when loading up the game and even see the options for the mod in the menu of the game but none of my enemies are getting dismembered 🧐
Are you installed everything manually or with Vortex? If you used Vortex from Nexus Site, make Sure you clicked on Deploy Mods before you Start the Game
Just downloaded the new realm of thrones mod it worked played for a day then the game crashed and now every time I try and load it up I get the note saying. “The application faced a problem. We need to collect necessary files to fix this problem would you like to upload these files now?”

Couldn't agree less, bannerlord is one of the worst games when it comes to mods and patches and it is the most fragile game I've modded with.

honestly i think some mods are essential to even enjoy the game beyond a single playthrough. vanilla ai just clumps up

Tried to fix with a reversion and now the games stopped running whatsoever 😆 Reinstalled the game from steam and it kept the old files with the bad win_64_client so now even on reinstall my game doesn't even reach the first loading screen 😭
Hi, what game version do you use ? is there a way to downgrade the game ? i feel like the latest version i'm using may be the issue (1.6.5)

@@charlesvillarba8288 yeah, if you go right click the game on steam, go to properties, go to beta, and then "Select the beta you'd like to opt in to" that should be all the game versions if im not mistakened.

Mine just straight up doesnt show the mod in the mod list in the game... The folder is there. It is the newest game of thrones mod.

I’ve downloaded harmony and all the required mods to download the dismemberment plus mod and I’m pretty sure I have them all loaded in order and I can on all the mods when loading up the game and even see the options for the mod in the menu of the game but none of my enemies are getting dismembered 🧐

Are you installed everything manually or with Vortex?
If you used Vortex from Nexus Site, make Sure you clicked on Deploy Mods before you Start the Game

if you are going to unblock dlls and "unblock" isnt there click advanced
None of the mods Im using are blocked, with none of the DLLs having the unblock option, yet I still get that one error crash thing, please help

TYSM im new to using mods so i was wondering why the erros were popping out but i just had to unblock all the dll files lmao
Just downloaded the new realm of thrones mod it worked played for a day then the game crashed and now every time I try and load it up I get the note saying. “The application faced a problem. We need to collect necessary files to fix this problem would you like to upload these files now?”

cant play the mod since steam always update the game so mods arent always compatible.

I'm having a xml issue with Old Realms mod. It's mostly crashes when fireball hits units. When I troubleshoot this crash I see tow_core object interfere instance.. and when I check failure on xml's I get this:
