Thanks for the nice video, did not know the Tao Leo’s use Votol em100 controllers wow! ~ Also if you haven’t I would make sure the BMS is common port for the lithium battery, those separate charging wires out of the battery may be important for charging because if the BMS is not common port and has a c- terminal it is possible it will not balance charge causing the pack to eventually get out of balance and break down or have serious sag issues.
Can you damage the motor by upgrading the breaker?

When charging the battery directly..do you need to isolate it by by turning the main bike breaker off ?
Nope, you can't charge with either breaker off

@@bowengenova24 check both of the battery covers...make sure all screws are tight and double check it by bang the seat so any vibration you will see and hear it.
And lock all the spaces with plastic lock tie.
My electric motorcycle battery that is in it that does not have good battery life and is old says it is 72 V and 45 amp hour but I can’t find 72 V 45 amp power anywhere can I put a 72 V and 50 ah battery instead of 45 will it hurt it?
hi, yes you can upgrade to a lithium no problem. You have lead acid in the bike now. To replace you would need 6 x 12volt 45ah batteries
By chance do these have battery charge counters like the liquid acid batteries that are on the Emmo monsters I was told after 300 full charges the battery is program not to take a charge anymore and this is when you have to replace them needed or not.

@@ridethewind That’s weird so why is my ……..? saying remember you have only 300 full charges and soon as you plug in its considered a full charge don’t mater how long the charger was on. Say I go back the next day to complete the charge so soon as you plug it back in it’d considered another full charge so two full charges will comes off the 300 …so how can they tell how many charges I have if they tell me I only have 300 full charges. I did some inquiries and I was told by a battery Tech my battery should last up to 500 charges.

Ugh I know my dealership guy said batteries are worse and more difficult to change than others..now I see what he meant..ughhh way can't they make them all quick change accessible.
Going from lead to lithium won't get any easier. Lithium to lithium sure, but only if the harness is the same. And the odds of that aren't good
