Connecting the reverse lights to the red wire would have caused the back up assist lines to appear. Helpful to some.

@@540tv6 There's been too many times I've seen craziness on the road not to get one. Yesterday I saw an old couple doing 80 mph down the highway with no tire on their rim! When you dim it, is it as distracting?

How do we install the reverse camera wire? The red one. That's a huge help in reverse parking in my truck. I have a Ford Expedition XLT and I need to know how to install that please.

Hi I just bought this and I wanted to know how do I leave it In regular mode meaning the dash isn’t showing me the back or front cameras because it does bother me continuously looking back while I’m driving and I only see the back camera do I just turn it off while I’m driving and turn it on when I need it to back up or is there a mode for me to keep it at regular?
I actually use both modes at the same time..front and back. It can be distracting for sure

How do you do to watch the videos in the computer? What app do you use ? I have tried many apps and I can’t do it work. Thanks.
You can watch the videos right in the camera itself. It won’t record without the micro SD card inserted. You can also take them to your computer also. To watch what is recorded swipe all the way to the right
@@540tv6 yeah I have the memory sd and I watch the videos in the cámara, but when I take the memory out to watch it in my computer, I can’t play the video, i want to know what Kind of player I can use to watch the videos in the computer? Thanks for answering me.
How'd you wire the red wire?
I didn’t use the red wire being I wanted my camera on at all times...connect the ReD wire to a reverse light positive for the camera to come in when in reverse. But with this system there’s no need to connect it

@@540tv6 just one more question when the vehicle is off will it record with the sensor if someone got to close? Or does the vehicle have to be on?
If you hook it up to something with constant power it will stay on but note it could drain your battery if it stays on
I bought the VanTop H612T, but some functions do not run well. The equipment does not have a week of use and has already been defective. The equipment gets very hot. Perhaps for that reason, you will also stop filming. Performs functions that are disabled, such as emergency shooting, without permission. I am using a quality card, reliable manufacturer, 128Gb card with high speed.
Yea your unit is defective I would return it. If bought from Amazon they will honor your return and replacement.
Is this camera even legal? It is so huge. I thought the limit was 5 square inches for cams mounted in the top center part of the windshield.
That’s not a law in North Carolina. Also the law is nothing can obstruct the view through the windshield with attached it handing from mirror. It’s not blocking vision and with the camera your able to see front and rear of vehicle.
Your video was cool and all But this was so awful to install in my 2018 Challenger.

i thought about that but i didnt have to pay for nothing else plus straight wiring gives you experiences on installing other things associated with radio
