I'm playing Resident Evil Code Veronica on Dolphin on a 3D Plasma I got for 40$ on Offerup in native Stereo 3D and it looks freaking GORGEOUS, Feels like playing it for the first time. A 3DS port would have been bonkers. I want to play the Dead Space Remake in 3D or VR with Reshade but my ultrabook is kinda old.
Acer just announced their first handheld gaming device. Here is hoping they make one with the Spatiallabs branding in the near future. It would really differentiate them from the competition.
@@josh_3D They said they only got into the hand-held market because they wanted people to have an Acer option. They even specifically stated that they didn't expect their product to do well. I doubt they would release an affordable 3d handheld if they are so unmotivated to succeed in this market. I'm stepping away from the glasses-free 3D market for the next 3+ years. The current products are mostly niche devices priced at over $2000, and the latest Lume Pad 3 launch has been one of the most confusing tablet releases I've seen. The main problem is that none of these companies seem interested in making these products affordable or expanding their support base. Acer, for instance, could have refined their 15-inch SpatialLabs monitor to make it more accessible with a cheaper price tag, but instead, they released a $2000+ monitor that requires another $2000 in computer hardware to run properly. This approach clearly shows they're not focused on growing their customer base, which makes future game support uncertain. The market has not only become more expensive but also increasingly confusing. Hopefully, in a couple of years, the direction of 3D hardware and software will become clearer, but for now, I'm happy sticking with my Lume Pad 2 and not wasting another dime on these greedy companies.
I’m enjoying the 2nd half of every video where it’s in 3d sbs. I hope you upload in higher resolution tho, preferably native to the quality of the beam pro footage
Thanks! Seems like a lot of people are actually watching the second half of these videos I’ll keep exploring what I can do to make a higher resolution version available
When running Wukong with Spatiallabs Go, I had to drop the resolution to 1920 x 1080 and DLSS to 25, some boss scenes are really taxing this laptop when running in 3D mode.
As soon as I heard you say there was a 3D version of the video, I switched to 3DFan. I could see the depth and maybe a bit of separation in the games. You, however, were leaning out of the screen - or you head and hand occasionally were, anyway. I look forward to this future that you predict.
Though I like these glasses free 3D laptops, my question is: if it can be done with AI on a laptop, can't ai not convert 2D games so I can see them 3D in my VR headset? I use Virtual Desktop to access my PC and laptop. It has 3D options, but it needs different 3D formats to display. I tried VorpX, but don't like it very much. That software is too stupid and needs a lot of manual adjustment. If it had AI, it might work better.
Technically it’s possible, we just need someone like Owl3D or Leia Inc to launch a real time 2D to 3D conversion feature in VR. I believe it will happen eventually
Bro I see you put your SpatialLabs directly onto the table 😮 don’t you run into overheating issues? When I turn on TrueGame in mine it goes to almost 90 C if put it onto a table without a pad. I have to tweak the resolution down to 1920x1080 for it to run around 79 C and turn the fans to max to keep it at 69 C with a cool pad below
I haven’t ever monitored the temperature but I think it does ok. I usually have the AC on in the room and it helps that my desk material doesn’t heat up that easily.
@@ahmetrasid5375 I have, but it only works when things are displayed in SBS mode a computer. I actually can’t recall if I made a dedicated video for it. I should do another one

Hi, I got a question. Since Black Myth: Wukong isn't in the SpatialLabs TrueGame supported games List, yet you are able to play it in 3d, how does that work for other SpatialLabs products like the SpatialLabs View Pro display? What SpatialLabs App are you using on this laptop? Will I be able to play games that are not on the TrueGame list of supported titles with a SpatialLabs View Pro display with just the proper SpatialLabs App ??? Thanks so much!
If you are considering an ACER monitor, definitely go with the one in this link because it supports TrueGame and real time 3D conversion. The View Pro only would give you access to the conversion, not the TrueGame app, which Wukong and other games could be added to in the future www.acer.com/us-en/predator/monitors/spatiallabs-view-27
@@josh_3D hi. Was looking at the 15'6 inch ones since I travel a lot. There are 2 versions - Nitro View and View Pro. Since Im based in the UK, only the View Pro is available on the UK store and not the Nitro. I could order from the US but not sure how it will work, since cables are different, outlet sockets I mean. @@DNADota best to contact ACER about the outlet compatibility. I think it’s risky because there isn’t a guarantee that the True game will always have a work around. I tried doing something similar and got a message saying the pro software wasn’t compatible with my spatial labs gaming laptop
@@josh_3D Hi again, I was particularly interested in playing games in 3D with the SpatialLabs display using the GeForce NOW app. Since its an extremely convenient option for me, its a good service etc, but dont know how it will be compatible with the SpatialLabs GO/TrueGame.
