If the cap is vented, why do you have to loosen the bolts on the Hydro pumps? I thought what you loosened on the Hydro pump was to put the mower in a neutral position, so as to move it when it has no power.
This is the procedure so that any air can be purged. I assume that it sends flow through a bypass loop so that air bubbles can’t compress and blow out a seal
Appreciate the video. I have a super mini z w lots of oil or hydro leaking. Would ya recommend changing the o rings first? Hard to pinpoint as underneath has lots of oil all over Thank you kindly
The super minis were kind of cool I had one long time ago. The cool thing is they’ve got the same hydros basically but a lot lighter chassis not sure about where yours would be leaking.
The manufacturer sticker says 10w40 but consensus is 20 w50 is better for older machines and even Ed Wright said so 15w40 would I think be better than 10w40 but not as good as 20w50 but always do research because each machine varies

20w50 is the recommended oil for the hydraulic wheel pumps. Will it make a difference if you use 15w40?
