JHAG is not a brand I have good luck with but I do want to sample the new release as I hear longevity is better in this one and the notes sounds great to me. I recently added La Tacita de Cafe it is from an indie brand called Day Three Fragrances. I am also going through the rest of their samples/discovery kit.
Ohhh yes a sample seems like the right way to go with you. Longevity is pretty good for me, 6-7 hours. My skin normally eats fragrances up too! That fragrance sounds lovely!
My most recent samples are HOS Hufflepuff, smells like a tropical drink with a side of lemon cake, definitely full bottle worthy. Also recently sampled Hormone Paris Serotonin which smells a lot like TF Tobacco Vanille with a blast of cinnamon, too masculine for me but love smelling it on my partner!
I smelled Sugar Leather today because of you and woah, it’s so beautiful. Dates and sugar 🤤 My most recent purchase was Unue by Jeroboam (beautiful sweet yellow and white flowers with a citrus touch) and I want to buy Levant by Ormond Jayne and Rialto by Gritti next.

You think so? I think it smells screechy and harsh and would be better suited for a hotel lobby scent than on an actual person. I gave mine away after the first use. Creed's "Love in White" is very similar to "Lust for Sun" yet it is much higher quality, and unlike Lust for Sun, it actually smells like *real* white florals.
I will be sampling cafe cabanel and sugar leather for sure, these two really intrigued me.. however liked the idea of burning neroli also.. maybe I will sample.. recently I got full bottle of Liquide Imaginaire Dom Rosa and Atelier dsores Nuda veritas in my collection.

You now have me lusting over PDM La Rosee, but that one will take some saving up for😏🙃 Thanks for another great video❣*side note edit- got my JUSbox Cheeky Smile sample & sadly, it pulled a strong burnt tire note on me😭huge bummer as I liked the scent profile otherwise. Amouage Guidance is a pass for me, both me and my husband disliked it. It started to be more pleasant after 4 hours only. From Xerjoff my Torino 21 and Apollonia just arrived!
My new fragrance in my collection is Bleu Turquoise from Armani Prive collection. I love this unique vanilla scent. I also just blind bought the Bottega Veneta By Bottega Veneta EDP. I am waiting to arrive I believe it’s a discounted fragrance. I’m excited to get it I’ve heard great things about it.
I hated Lust for Sun when I sprayed it on in Sephora. All I could smell was the florals which I found overpowering and didn't smell the coconut or vanilla at all in the top or dry down. About an hour later I tried to wash it off. I assume it's just an on my skin issue as I thought it smelled okay on the paper in the store (with other scents in the air).
Hi Hayley, that's a nice set of new perfumes! I will get the Cabanel too, but I have pushed back buying these kind of gourmands to the end of the summer, because I know I will not use them now with the warmer weather approaching. I will be getting Bianco Latte by Giardini di Toscana as well, which is in a similar vein. I think you will like this one, too, so check it out.
Is it out of stock, wow!! It is very cinnamon forward for sure. Do you like Mandorle from Sora Dora. It’s a similarish vibe to that but with a touch or cinnamon and no cherry.

Sugar Leather is sweeter, cinnamon is prominent and a little more bold. They are similar in a way but different enough to own both. Knowing you like Ghibli, I am pretty sure you will love Sugar Leather!
Need an AM sample, but don't really want to buy the AM-PM samples for €39 from FDB - would rather sit around and wait for a 10% off to get a sample with a bottle. Latest acquisitions were 2 Xerjoffs in February (Tony Iommi & Torino22) that I got with a v-day promo. Likely getting several Amouages in May to take advantage of a birthday promo they sent me. Testing "My sweetest morphine" today and that is definitely not a scent for me. Should get my Blue Moon, and Sadonaso samples today or tomorrow as well. The sample that I want the most is Crivelli's Oud Maracuja. For some reason, I think that could really be my fragrance.
Interested to hear your thoughts on Sadonaso! I really enjoyed My Sweetest Morphine when I tried it. Oud Maracuja sounds so interesting, I need to get down to Selfridges to sample it. I can’t even imagine how it would smell!
I went to Harrods on Friday to test Apollonia - wasn’t that into it, ended getting Erba pura 🤔 I also got Angels Share finally, and tried a bunch of other stuff in Selfridges…the wish list grows 💀

Bleu Turquoise is stunning, I really love the almost salty vanilla scent it has! I have also heard good things about Bottega!

Similar but different, Utopia is sweeter and more prominent with tuberose. JHAG is more coconut and less sweetness.
