Is it still working fine? Any issues? Can you confirm batteries can be used as power backup in case of a power outage?

So far, yes. Still use it daily and yes, the batteries work if the power goes out. I've had that happen once.

so, im so confused with this product, i keep reprograming it daily, it honestly defiits the purpose of it, i thought if i set up 2 meals, 1 @ 8am and @8pm feeding times (so my pet can have breakfast and dinner) the feeder will do it everyday at that same time, but it doesn’t! im honestly so annoyed with it because i was going out if town for 2 days and thought this could save my life but it just didn’t
