The "1957 Chrysler 300" is, in fact, a 1958 Chrysler Windsor. No red white and blue medallion, and dual headlights which were not authorized until 1958. GFM
Sorry, but I have to correct you on that. The 1957 300 C did in fact have the dual headlights, so did the 1958 300 D .......both the 1957 and 1958 300s had the dual headlights and big triangular grill. The 1957 Chrysler New Yorker, Windsor, and saratoga had single headlights, but a much narrower and horizontal grill, and the 1958 New Yorker, Windsor and Saratoga had dual headlights and but a much narrower and horizontal grill. The Chrysler in the photo is most certainly a '57 or '58 300 but it's missing the badge.
Born in 1948, cars were the deal. I've owned many of these automobiles. Thanks for the channel, love seeing the old iron. New cars all look pretty much the same to me. generic pulp. Alas, the hand of man doesn't set foot in the design studio anymore. Rolling art is a thing of the past except for a few builders. Thanks again. l
Born in 1945 I have been in so many of these models and I didn't miss any. My suggestion would be to make it more interactive, but it's fun either way. My son was astounded with how I knew all of the cars. I Loved it as it brought back some great memories. Thank you.
Born in 1948,I owned some of these,or knew people who did, just for your information,at 15 years old, when I started to drive,a bought a 1953 fordV 8 two door sedan flathead for 50 dollars in Chicago, drove it the next day to Toledo Ohio,to buy fire works for the Fourth of July, ran alittle hot, like most flathead V8 s,but at 76,still breathing!Thomas A.Filipiak
I was born in 1945, and loved cars as I grew up. I got every question correct. I bet many kids from my era could do just as well. Doctor George Whitehead
Missed that Hudson Hornet, dammit. 19/20. Born in 48 and, as a boy in the 50s, knew most American car models. Dad later stationed in Germany, so the British/European models weren’t a problem. Fun stuff.
Got 4 wrong, and three process of elimination. Golden Hawk almost got me, I was looking at the radiator grill and thought could be a Mercedes? But then the multiple guess showed up and I knew. there was one in a big garage that I wound up renting 35 years ago, but it was only there for a short time. Have no idea what happened to it.😊
What you talking about Willis? The 58 Fury was available from the factory in 7 solid colors or 4 two tone versions. It could also be special ordered in any one of the 15 colors available for the Plymouth lineup in 58. Do a Google image search, you will see more Toreador Red Fury's than any other color.
@@theoriginalracer72 the Fury in other years may have been available in other Colors, but Fury in 1957 and 58 were a low production option and was only available in Tan with gold trim the 57 had a hoped up 318 with dual quads, the 58 had a 350 with dual quads. there were lots of Belvederes in other colors but not the Fury.
I guess none of you ever heard of not painting it the original color? That being said Torque Red was the other option, not just the tan, the movie car Christine was an original color.
Trust me my brother I owned one Furies only came in 57 and 58 in a 10 color it had a 2 tone fabric interior you can get Belvedere's and Savoy's in other colors But not a fury
Number 7 is a 1959 Cadillac but not the Eldorado which was a 2 door. It was a 1959 Cadillac 62 sedan. The 62 was distinguished from the Sedan DeVille by a lack of a script in front of the rear bumper.
20 out of 20 for me, better than you who mis-identified either the year or model of several of the cars. Born in '47, male, so should know these. Perhaps you should study a little more! Still think the BMW 507 is a beautiful car today!
The 59 Cadillac was a Fleetwood. It was not an El Dorado. El Dorado’s only had two doors and most of them were convertible. That being said I missed two.
When car design was art! Being 81, I rode in and saw these neat autos daily!
As others have noted, the '59 4-door Cadillac is a Series 62 model, not an Eldorado.
I got 18 of 20, i am 64 years old and live in Sweden, have always loved these old cars from the golden era since i was a little boy.
Maybe the reason Cristeen was so pissed off was she was painted the wrong Color!
LOL 😊❗️🇺🇸
I got two wrong. Darn! Great selection of great cars.
I got 18 of 20 right. Haven't seen some of these antique cars in more years than I want to admit!
14/20, not bad I guess, considering I wasn't even born until 1970.

Missed two. Loved the Studebakers.
'Scuze me, but I think the '59 Caddy is a sedan deville.
That's what I said.
I believe eldorado came in 2dr only then you are right!
agreed
Got 'em all. Drove a few.
100% cause I'm old enough to see these when they were new.
Missed one foreign model the BMW 507; not to shabby a score.
Got everyone, correct although I guessed correctly on one of them!
Thanks for the quiz
Missed only one, but a few were guesses.
Not so hot myself on the pre-60s vehicles, but fun to see them all! Thanks!

Got,em all had to guess one!
Born 1946 and I'm a "car guy" .. I would be embarrassed if I had missed one.
16/20.....strolling down Memory Lane to the parking lot at Gorgeous Garage and Gas Bar. Not a Toyota in view....cool!!!
First quiz answer was a 1958 Plymouth Belvedere! Fury only came in buckskin tan. Bad start.
4 wrong. Some of the foreign ones got me. I knew most of them before the choices were shown.
I was born in 1948 and I got all 20 correct.
Missed that Hudson Hornet, dammit. 19/20. Born in 48 and, as a boy in the 50s, knew most American car models. Dad later stationed in Germany, so the British/European models weren’t a problem. Fun stuff.
Got them all correct except for the BMW. I’m not so good on the foreign cars.
Needed the multiple choice for #19, missed #13 altogether but got all the rest. Off a little on the years but got the makes and models. Good quiz!
A man two doors down from me had a yellow Darin. The doors slide into the front fenders.
Grew up in the 50's so naturaly I Aced this. 82 now and this sure brings back memories.
I don’t believe you aced it . I pumped gas in the late fifties and I never saw the foreign cars in this video .
Nailed it.

20 out of 20 right, both make and model, although I was off by a couple of years of manufacture several times. BTW, the '59 Caddy is not an Eldo.
19/20 Morris got me
Got them all.
16 correct, 4 wrong. Not too bad. 🤔
Got all 20. I saw a Kaiser Darrin at a car show. Their doors slide iinto the front fenders.
This is a good game! I might be biased since I got them right.
I did have them all and without any hesitation.
I owned a 1958 4 door belvedere in 1967 that I bought for 125.00 dollars and is parked in Williamson county Texas where it has been parked since 1968
I'm from U'K. Always been an American car fan. Got 16 before choices, 2 with choices and two guessed wrong.
18 but a couple of educated guesses
Hard art, I got all but five, haa, no brag here for good reason.
That is not a 1958 Plymouth fury it is a 1958 Plymouth Belvedere Furies only came in one color tan how do I know because I used to own 1

Christine will come and haunt you.
EXACTLY
I missed that Morris Minor. I never was much on foreign cars. I'm 85 so I know 50s cars pretty well.
I got it right but it was a guess. That Austin looked like a real contender.
I miss 2, we had a studebaker in 1962 had tran trouble ,all good photos.
Trust me my brother I owned one Furies only came in 57 and 58 in a 10 color it had a 2 tone fabric interior you can get Belvedere's and Savoy's in other colors But not a fury
19 out of 20, if you credit that 300C, which is a Windsor I believe.
Got them all I'm 81 years old
Got them all but one. White BMW sports car.
I got all of them right
100% Correct!
Wrong Bill Wilson!
I got 19/20. You got me on the foreign car.
There were at least four foreign cars Jag, BMW, Morris, Citroen. I didn’t rerun the quiz.
Number 7 is a 1959 Cadillac but not the Eldorado which was a 2 door. It was a 1959 Cadillac 62 sedan. The 62 was distinguished from the Sedan DeVille by a lack of a script in front of the rear bumper.

It would be nice if you could press the letter
On the question and it would keep track of the answer
Only 2 wrong out of 20. Born in 1950, and I could kill myself for getting the most obvious one (1957 Chevy) wrong!
I got 19 right.
Missel one Hudson
The 59 Cadillac was a Fleetwood. It was not an El Dorado. El Dorado’s only had two doors and most of them were convertible. That being said I missed two.
