Pretty! Olives are so nice here in France, and we can get them in many salad forms in bulk at the greenmarket in my city, but how nice to know how to do a salad ourselves! A few olives can be really nice, quite plain or dressed, with a bitter cocktail such as a Cynar and soda or a Campari and soda, et c. or a non-alcoholic French bitters drink. All the inherent salt obviates the need for peanuts or some salty/savory little apéro treat. I learned this in Italy. Uprated. Great channel.
there was a time, if you tried to get me to eat an olive, I would have chased you down the street with a big stick. that was until I tried them marinated in garlic-chilli and fresh coriander. now I adore them and eat them often. I make my own these days rather than buy from Aldi or Lidl. so cheap to make your own.
@@michelwaknin9893 a full year if keeped closed in the jars outside the fridge, in a cool and dark place. The oil on top will act as a preserving agent. After opening the jar 30 days.

HI good video... is that dry white wine?
+Chef Eric Arraouzé :recipe looks beautiful I'm going to try.Did you use Castelvetrano green olives or green Cerignola?
+Chef Eric Arraouzé ok thank you for a great recipe from Tampa FL
Instead of wine what else can I use
Chef Eric Arrouzé thank you as I don't drink so needed an alternative.
Adam Chase, you can use a small amount of good quality of vinegar
Combien de temps elles se conservent au frais?
you say to wait 5 days to get them ready but you dont say how long time we can consume them if they stay in the fridge
