- In this video I explain economic development and the The Demographic Transition Model (DTM). Which shows how three things change over time: the birth rate, the death rate, and the total population.
To give it some context, I focus on the USA and Western Europe, but remember, most countries follow this same process although not every country fits and some transitioned quicker or slower than others.

I thought it was talking about the drug "DMT" at first. But anyways, I think overpopulation is definitely an issue.
Only people living in countries having overpopulation know what it is, sadly I stay in such a country :(
I'm enrolled in an AP human geography class, and I needed to make sure I knew how the DTM worked. Thanks so much.
Same
Very well done video! You explained a COMPLEX topic in a concise, and simple way
We talked alot about this in AP Environmental Science about logistic growth in populations and how the population demographics vary among countries
What book would you recommend on the topic the history of the US economy?
Im very interested in Stage 5, declining and aging population like Japan and Korea. Please make a video about it.

The DMT is in ib geography lol
I NEED to know what he meant by there's Too many rich people I NEED TO KNOW.
I think the question at the end is unfair. Are there too many rich people? It's unfair. Almost everyone in developing and developed countries consume goods. This consumption takes material and creates waste. We need more people to go back to being self-sufficient in the stage 1 and stage 2 days (just with medical advancements).
I think the point he was trying to make is that the money is not well distributed, and so there's inneficiency. It's also unfair to blame it on consumers and their spending choices.
