in ex.1 after puting x=0 , 9y^2-12y+3 i took u=-9, v=-3 . I got following factors (-y + 1) and ( -9 y+3) and Ans. (2x-9y+3) and (2x-y+1) which is incorrect. I have to take u=-3 compulsarily to get right answer.

You need not pen paper just mentally calculate 2x.(-y )+2x.(-9y)=-20xy which we don't want so you have to take anything common out of your second two factors like take 3 common from ( -9y+3 ) and multiply with the second factor ( -y+1) so that you will get adjusted correct factors in this case (-3y+1) and (-3y+3) and taking common out does not change the product in getting second factor and this thing of ajusting is informed to us by the teacher usable in complicated but definitely possible polynomial.
