I’d be careful assuming that models tested in one market / country are structurally the same in others. A key to crash worthiness is the amount of ultra high strength steel. You can easily safe money under the bonnet without being able to tell from the exterior of the car. Models from Volkswagen group are a good example.
VW Vento all test nicely handled. Side impact test , less damage to body structure. Nice car. A VW is any day preferred. When I went to buy a car VW Polo comfortline with all abs and airbags was at 6.2 and Maruti Swift VXI at 6.0 can you imagine !!? And I went for VW Polo eyes open. Inshaallah.

In real life condition I has seen polo hitting the roadways bus at sector 46-47-48-49 traffic lights and it turning bus tilted. The driver of polo escaped with minor bruises.
