    I haven’t used one but I’m open to trying it along with the products I purchased from you. I just took my hair out of a protective style and I continue to get the injections. There hasn’t been any more hair loss so I’m thankful for that

      Wow!! Thank you for the many years of support and I'm happy that you enjoy my products. I'm sorry to hear that you are dealing with CCCA. When it comes to CCCA I would focus on topical products and healing the body from the inside. I think there are more effective ways with dealing CCCA than using a derma roller. Since using a derma roller also is more effective when using products that help to stimulate hair growth. I hope that helps. How long have you had CCCA?

      @AlopeciaFreeWithJass I've had CCCA for 13 years. I totally agree with you. I work for a hospital and have scheduled an appointment with the nutritionist. Can't wait to start my new journey!!! Thank you so much for sharing your journey!!!

    Just got my derma roller. How frequently do you use it? I have a biotin serum and edge repair cream that I intend to use it with. Is it only weekly, as I has a once a week wash day?

      It depends on the size of the needles. The shorter the needle, the more often you can use it. 0.5mm can be used 3 times a week. But 6 can try it out once or twice a week to see if it works for you. You don't want to use it too much.

      @AlopeciaFreeWithJass I got the .5 as you suggested. I am going to try 3 tines a week. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I am going to try rosemary and mint oil to see how that works to stimulate growth. My only concern is my edges. The rest is ok. Thanks for your help. Also going to book visit with dermatologist to see if any additional information is available.

    I have one already, I purchased it as advertised for lower abdominal fat and it didn't work well for that. But because it leaves small holes, I'm not using it on my scalp, I've worked way too hard to get it as healthy as it is now and I couldn't stand the sores and itching it will cause.

    How do you clean and store a derma roller?

    • @AlopeciaFreeWithJass
      @AlopeciaFreeWithJass  8 місяців тому +1

      Submerge the head of the roller in rubbing alcohol for 3 to 5 minutes. Then take it out and let it dry in it's packaging case for 10 minutes. Once it's dry store it in it's packaging that it came in or you can get a plastic case from the dollar store. Have a great day! :)

    Does this work if you have CCCA alopecia?

    • @AlopeciaFreeWithJass
      @AlopeciaFreeWithJass  9 місяців тому

      I have not used it for my CCCA clients because there are other things that can be done to stimulate hair growth in those situations. CCCA can be a more complicated form of hair loss, which may involve products, diet and regimen changes in order to see results. A derma roller if used may only be part of the har growth plan. In any case it's good to get professional help when if you decide to use one. Have a great week❤️🙂
