SPOILERS So after god died the angels were kinda too busy panicking over what the fuck to do next to do anything else. While that was going on, down in the lust layer king Minos decided 'hey it seems kinda fucked up for people to spend an eternity in endless torment for just loving a little too much' and had a revolution. The angels managed to get their shit together and make a council to decide what to do next. First thing on the agenda, send our boy Gabriel down to restore 'God's will' in hell. So Minos gets sucker punched and locked in a flesh prison, and is forced to watch as his soulless corpse destroys everything he worked for. Second thing he is going to do once he is free is kick gabe's ass, first thing to do is destroy the blood powered murder bot that helped wipe out humaniy.
bitch I am the lore man, when god dissapeared and the council took over, king minos though it was his time to rebuild the lust layer of hell, and when the council heard of his doings they sent gabriel to kill him. minos, upon seeing gabriel tried to do things diplomatically, but gabriel didnt listen and killed minos. and minos loved his people very much, and after his death the lust layer and its inhabitants and even king minos's body started to turn into husks, which represent the dead demon body of a dead person with no spirit to control it

When you think about it, King Minos probably could've beat Gabriel like a fucking sock. But he chose to be diplomatic, to be peaceful. The irony is giving me a heart attack.
Minos actually became stronger after his death (became one of the three prime souls) and Gabriel one-shot him so no, KING Minos couldn't win. Minos was a ultra chad king while alive but because he was fair. In the Divine Comedy he became a judge of hell due to that. Ultrakill Minos probably had a six-pack tho.
Incorrect, king minos before becoming a prime soul was about as powerful as his corpse (maybe a little stronger since he could actively think, and more intelligence is always a plus, and also he wasn't a rotting corpse), and considering how speedy gab is, he probably could (and did) fodderize minos. That being said, as a prime soul, minos probably could (and would have) folded gabriel back savage, too bad he decided to challenge the warbot gopro.
I feel this, had about 20 hours before Act 2 layer 1 came out and I took a really long break. I really wanted to get p ranks on all the levels so I decided to get back into it, now I'm on almost 60 hours and probably better than I was before. For example, the shotgun blast at 4 bars is an explosion that can hurt you, however, the mini-dash has iFrames, you can literally dodge the explosion. Another hard tech to do there was parrying Minos' parryable attacks (because you can't parry all of them), however, this parry does not stop him from doing damage, Oyff perfectly timed and chained A parry, A dodge, and a charged shot. It happenned so quickly that you can barely register it.

@@morales6224 I mean, kinda depends. If you know how to deal damage efficiently, Flesh Prison can be killed insanely quickly (walk up at the start, throw 4 coins up, blue railgun; green nailgun is hella powerful against it; shotgun quickswitching is also extremely good). @@morales6224 malicious railcannon, shotgun parry, shotgun charge shot, coin. All of these let you kill minions without aiming too hard. Going too fast with the damage can cause it to heal with seconds after spawning a new bunch of eyes / mal-faces.
@@Chiquitito1201 It's because of the retro future style. I know there are a whole lot damn more games like that but I could only remember cyberpunk at the moment.
Good stuff, I recommend keeping just one eye or mini malicious face alive to prevent a respawn cycle so you can keep shitting on it for a longer period of time. The mini malicious faces can also damage the prison which could help for shorter times or onecycles
Is it weird that I look to you as “super hero-esque” of these intimidating games? I just find it so satisfying to watch you massacre these fools in these that I would have so much difficulty playing.
Well, maybe Minos was weaker when he was alive. And Minos tried to reason with Gabriel but got struck mercilessly. Even angels see prime souls as a threat so they imprisoned Minos' soul to stop it from forming into a prime soul.

if you try hard enough i believe you can make something worthwhile
Well, as I can say....
After 100 hours on this game, every boss in this game was a joke for me, even on the hardest difficulty yet.
But, this... this was something different. He can´t be defeated with any kind of tactics avaible.
I was glad I killed him on the 2nd easiest difficulty
Nobba, you what?!
i didn't even know this game existed, but for some reason this video gave me heavy morrowind red mountain vibes
This is infinitely more impressive than any CoD streamer highlight bs.
Bold of you to assume they would even make it to the prime sanctums
I just got this game yesterday and I can’t get enough of it
no game journalist will EVER reach this insane boss. Or the second one.
I am suffering from an awesomeness overdose after watching this please god fucking help oh god
wait why are you here :D
The hardest thing for game Journalists is not referring to every challenging game as "The Dark Souls of _____" chicanery.
Idk why, but it kinda sounds melodic, the bg music sounds so good with the gameplay
I feel like this is just Oyff flexing his DOOM experience in a different game.
But it makes it look badass at the same time.
Was just about to give up on getting all the perfects, but no way I am missing out on this
minos prime will absolutely fuck you up
@@uhrguhrguhrg Flesh prison is probably a bit harder.
Minos Prime requires you to learn proper timing for dodging combo attacks, judgement and parrying snake projectiles.
@@uhrguhrguhrg Yeah but one way or another you still have to kill the minions while maintaining high speed to not get instagibed.
@@morales6224 malicious railcannon, shotgun parry, shotgun charge shot, coin. All of these let you kill minions without aiming too hard. Especially the coin since it aims for you and you can hit it while moving in any way.
Also the healing depends on the damage dealt. If you focus the minions instead of the prison itself, it won't heal. If you focus the prison too hard without killing minions, it'll heal. Going too fast with the damage can cause it to heal with seconds after spawning a new bunch of eyes / mal-faces.
No game journalist is gonna beat malicious face
POV: Your an anime protagonist after training for 3 years
POV: You're a shonen protagonist after discovering the power of friendship
Pretty sure this is how i got introduced to ultrakill
doom+ULTRAKILL=MEGA RIP & TEAR
I feel like ULTRAKILL is what would happen if DOOM happened in CyberPunk, minus the bigillion of glitches.
@@foxmask8032 how does it remind you of cyberpunk?
@@Chiquitito1201 yeah what an insult to ULTRAKILL
@@deadassbird3763 more talking about how the two genres are barely alike only a couple of aesthetic similarities here and there
@@Chiquitito1201 It's because of the retro future style. I know there are a whole lot damn more games like that but I could only remember cyberpunk at the moment.
"Thy punishment, is 8/10 to much water
I just love how everyone has a different play style on this game, It’s very nice to see oyff flexing his epic gamer skills
I don't even think some can get to limbo. I mean one couldn't even beat the cuphead tutorial.
this game looks like doom in minecraft fighting the final boss of half life 1
I get flashbacks on my 200+ restarts before I first beat Minos Prime
Pov: thats what you wnat from a dark lord fight
let alone even get to it in the first place
they'll need therapy after just the spine walk down alone.
IF they ever get a P rank on every level lol
This video looks like something they'd play on a screen on set of an old sci fi movie to represent a videogame.
Oh, come on, oyff, you know game journalists can’t beat ANYTHING
I like how the title suggests game journalist could even get this far. They would likely fail the tutorial.
I'd fear to see this man in Warframe's Conclave, he holds too much power
no game journalist will ever get all the P-ranks, to be fair
How do you manage to be this good at FPS IN GENERAL!?
He's been gifted by an entity on birth to be a God at videogames.
Good stuff, I recommend keeping just one eye or mini malicious face alive to prevent a respawn cycle so you can keep shitting on it for a longer period of time. The mini malicious faces can also damage the prison which could help for shorter times or onecycles
Keeping an eye is probably safer since the face can blow itself up
@@uhrguhrguhrg usually an eye is a safer play but i personally keep one of each alive since the malface damage shaves off a shitload of time for me
@@bigsaladbar9838 alright, thanks for the tip, I'll have to try it
"Insane boss"
And now he is nothing but just a push over to veterans lmao
The fact that minos went from the highest achievement one can have to a boss you fight when You are bored is something
Is it weird that I look to you as “super hero-esque” of these intimidating games? I just find it so satisfying to watch you massacre these fools in these that I would have so much difficulty playing.
It's anyone's guess as to how Gabriel defeated Minos at all
probably underestimated V1 in their fight, he will go all out next
Well, maybe Minos was weaker when he was alive.
And Minos tried to reason with Gabriel but got struck mercilessly.
But Minos' will was strong enough to become a prime soul - soul that don't need a Husk as a vessel to manifest physically. Even angels see prime souls as a threat so they imprisoned Minos' soul to stop it from forming into a prime soul.
A journalist wouldn’t even beat malicious face.
2:32 HOLY SHIT ITS STEPHAN WEYTE!!!
yes it is
You are bold to assume that game journalist play the game they evaluate.
Hmmm Boss fight with gargantuan grotesque boss. Too hard to beat for any gamer ever (not that I actually progressed passed the first level). But looks like a fun and indie dark souls.
- IGN (7/10)
Kite, kite again, again and again....
UNTIL IT'S DONE
Minos looks easy compared to sussy fist
This is straight up the tutorial boss
At first I thought he was talking about the the run up to the boss
