If SBMM is to “ensure game lobbies are as evenly matched as possible” why do I get thrown into in-progress matches where the team I’m on is getting wrecked, against players who have never seen grass never mind touched it?
Because those sweats most likely had 5 back to back losses before that match, then the EOMM kicked in and decided they needed to completely stomp a team to keep them playing. :)

My main issue with the game is that it's not evenly matched at all. My teammates usually have no thumbs at a certain point that I don't even want to try and play the game before all the thumb less kids go to the opposite team and my teammates hog all the kills.
It's completely rigged and there's no point in taking part in the insanity.

It's so sad. For the past like 6 or 7 years the games haven't even been complete at launch and with all the micro transactions and all the raping they did over the years it's unbelievable... This is the same when government gets too big you got like 8 people making 100k a year that can't even complete a task and that's spread through the whole company and developers... It's so bad they had multiple developers working on pieces of an incomplete game with a touch of influence from "pro gamers". I'm honestly surprised no one has gone and made a simple cod game they could literally make a bop deuce or mw2 and it would be a hit..
They used to have a play list with no sbmm. It was just regular matchmaking. And sbmm playlist was called ranked. Really dont see the point of a ranked mode when sbmm is in every playlist

The matchmaking system works very similarly to a slot machine and is meant to be incredibly addictive. The truth is the noobs they play this game don’t know or don’t care about the shadow behind the scenes SBMM system so it doesn’t affect them. And the guys who are the top 20% getting matched with sweats are just idiots and have nothing better to do in their free time
Unfortunately, those nerds are cheating their face off for nothing. No money. No bragging rights. Nathan. Over 60% of your matches will be guaranteed at least one Cronus user. It's not worth playing multiplayer anymore.

I got on the game this morning and it took close to 7mins to get into lobby.
It’s BS how good players are punished for being good. Everything has to be “monitored” so bad players don’t get upset and not play anymore and buy bundles. Ridiculous. Can we just get normal Multiplayer again?
When I was a new player, I was stump on like a church lady seeing a spider! But i bought better internet speed, a gaming monitor, and a high end headphones. I got good at the game. Now all that was a waste of money. I will never buy COD again.

I literally just bought mw3 and first game ever I went 50 -14 ever since that game I think I’ve went positive like 3 times in 24 games or so lol
What I truly believe about the EOMM and SBMM is this: despite the majority of fans complaining about it, it still puts money in Activision’s pocket. Thunder mentioned it in the video and I can attest to that. I bought a couple of CDL skins for the MW3 “dlc”, and my lobbies instantly improved. Of course every now and then I still go against better clones of myself, but the lobbies got easier. That happens so that the players getting stomped think: the guy with the CDL skin plays well, and I want to look like (play like) him. So he goes and spends money and the cycle repeats itself endlessly. It is also worth mentioning that, nowadays, a gaming screen, headset and scuff controller (edge controller in my case) is a “must have” in order to have a chance to compeat. I remember when I was a teenager playing OG mw3 in a ps3, on a tube tv and audio from tv, and dominated. Now I must have all the high end stuff, paid skins and all of that so I can have 3-4 good games out of every 10 matches. Sadly, I still like this game. It’s provably giving me high blood pressure, depression and anxiety, but I like, so I keep playing. However, if you’re not a hardcore fan: stay away from this game. Better decision of your gaming life. Cheers, guys.
A “no SBMM” playlist would just make all of the sweats move over there and it will still be just as sweaty. There is a fraction of people playing cod these days compared to the golden age, and a much higher percentage of active players now are way better on average than in the past. Not saying I’m a fan of SBMM at all because I’ve definitely had my frustrations with it, but I think people just like to have an excuse for doing bad and need something to blame sometimes.
6:09 So true, little kids getting stomped just care about playing the game, they don't care if they're doing well. When I was a kid and got BO2 it was fresh and new and didn't care that I died over and over again. Meanwhile, your core audience who has been playing this game for 10+ years and who only derives enjoyment from pubstomping (since the actual game is boring) suffers.
All they gotta do is: Remove disbanding lobbies, Buff the killstreaks, bring back Splitscreeners, Adjusting Fast and Slow Movement, Tone down Parkouring and Mounting, Tone down Fortnite Skins so Ppl can see their Enemy Clearly, but keep Cool Camos, Remove Sliding but also keep the Dolphin Diving, Make Good Maps again so the killstreaks could do more work, Reply if some of you have more Suggestions .........

Man, Im all for mil sim only but, this games visual is ass, I realised when I play against dudes with milsim I cant even see them, where as virgin skins like nicki minaj or infinite warfare looking ass I can see it, they can do goofy skins but they have to make it relevant and look the part for gods sake give 21 savage a plate carrier.
Nerf the snipers, improve the spawns, improve the hit detection, buff the claymores and mines, bring back theatre mode.

PING is defo not king. Back in the golden era of CoD when I first started playing was MW2, BO1, MW3, Ghost, BO2, AW, BO3, IW, WW2 and BO4, all them games I was playing with UK and European lobbies, only SOMETIMES would I get some americans or people from other countries that are FAR from UK and EU and now I get matched with people all over the place!

BOCW was the last COD game I played, I now only play BO3 for zombies with my friend. SBMM has ruined COD for me, I used to love COD from COD4-BO2, if I played badly I got stomped, if I played well I did well and when I started playing COD I was terrible and by BO2 (I started playing in 2009) I was averaging over a 2K/D because I got better by playing the damn game...

Yo thunder i turned off all coms in the mw3 settings and the sweaty opposite teams were lowered by a lot. I still lose alot but I go 36/4 instead of 33/21
I suspect they are lying about sales numbers. That they are including the either past game sales or other franchises to inflate their numbers. And that dlc numbers include things like candy crush etc.
I enjoy watching the game and halftime show but what I really enjoy in being with my wife family and friends. I consider Super Bowl Sunday low key holiday

WIth the current games, I dont really care about my K/D too much, I just sometimes when playing solo, I just screw around, playing with friends I will be abit more serious about it, until then, I just mess around with different set ups and troll a enemy player sometimes.

I leave 90% of my games beacuse the game is rigged. the same toxic experience over and over again its frustrating. Ive been playing cod for 20 years. would nver leave a match unless it was a s&d and we had lost.
Even if the matchmaking was fixed today the game is still ass. The game is not fun at all.
I've noticed when I have a low latency( 3-6) i have the worst games of my life. I get out gunned consistently and can barely do well. But if it's in the 20s or low 30s. I can get double digit kills and barely die. I don't understand how connection is part of the SBMM algorithm and I constantly get put into lobbies where I'm getting my ass handed to me because I have good ping. And before someone says it could be my K/D, my K/D is a 1.2. Which is lower than most people I'm playing with or against. COD is garbage and is on a steady decline and will never come back.

Hey Thunder you asked if I like going even in a Call of Duty Match. Hell no. It has gotten so bad that I do not like playing the game as much as I used too. I am not playing Resident evil more often, I am playing retro games. Call of duty is only open when I am wanting to try a challenge which a lot of the times the game pisses me off, and Ill leave or I just want to play private matches with friends where the match making does not exist. MWIII gave me hope that there would be good zombies. Nope, so I go back to cold war zombies. We do not want the SBMM Bullshit.
I mean if your still going a new lobby after a match. Chances are sbmm is still on. I used to like staying in the same lobby. I don't know whose idea that was to allow that on multiplayer.
SBMM is one of the main reason why I stop buying COD. Old school COD will always be missed.
They started skill based matchmaking to give credibility to the game... Esports was starting to pop off, cod couldn't compete if you had people dropping a 150 kills a game. That's why the pros slowed the game down to make it "tactical" and look what all that did for a couple of tournaments... Cod is an arcade shooter .. it's not supposed to be realistic but if it is then the killstreaks have to be good, the whole premise of the game was to be rewarded for your effort... Killstreaks made the game fun and you could compete solo versus a whole squad and still win the game.
But Thunder your favorite MW2 maps are now standard in map rotation.

Unfortunately, two playlists won’t fix anything the same way having the ability to switch off crossplay won’t fix anything either. The sweats don’t want sbmm and the noobs are too stupid to change filters, so the lobbies will end up being even sweatier in my opinion. The only way is removing it indefinitely.
I've bought bundles n still be in lobbies where I'm still top 3 but 30 40 kills n everyone is still 30 40 kills n 1 player has like 15 16 kills

I miss the days where i could adapt & change my loadout or change up some attachments & even change my play style & get better. Now it doesn't matter what i do every match is the same. Then throw in the Cronus using nerds & mw3 is absolutely no fun. Cod stopping being a game a long time ago and is now a manipulated simulated experience aimed at milking our wallets dry. 😢
