Informative video. I had some confusion about ascension, even myself following VCT before franchising. A lot of questions got answered in the video. Thank you. I hope this helps others as well
When I wrote the script I remembered seeing a post of them winning against C9, but couldn't find the screenshot while editing 😅 I hope you enjoyed regardless !
Honestly a great video, straightforward and to the point even though the system is confusing. One thing I would love to see from Riot is that they finally add a server for Africa because I always see the whole continent is included in EMEA but we have to play the game on 150-190ms. There is a place for Valorant here, and even LoL, it’s just so frustrating that after all these years we are still not included. Hopefully one day. Keep up the great work love from South Africa.
I'm sure there are many people at Riot thinking about you guys and trying to make it happen. There must be a good reason they dont have it yet. I wish for it to happen, I have an African friend who I played a lot with and those games are just a vibe cause high pingers know they such a big disadvantage and you just play for fun. and it mostly is fun because you dont take the game too serious and laugh about the enemy losing to a high ping player, its like playing a whole different game with him, I wish they had african servers so I could join that server and experience what he is experiencing these past 2 years😂
Goddamn that was an amazing video to just sum up everything. I honestly wanna see another Japanese team from APAC purely for how hype it is. Hopefully this year of Valorant will be a banger
@@benjy9072 makes me wonder that OR esports beat m80 on pearl and DSG has won three matches on pearl and one against OR. I bet that is a map choice they make if m80 don’t ban it

5:05 wait my tweet made it to your video?! Wtf 😂! Appreciate it ❤, but I would also like to mention that TacticalRab made a video that goes in more depth about NA challengers.
So doing everything to make it easier for a American team to get in since it’s what 1 European team, 2 North American teams and 2 South American teams (I guess 1 Pacific team as well?).
Hey can you tell me how whole eSports of valorant Americas works and all the tiers 1,2,3 cuz i wanted to know about NA eSports so bad but idk how to get the clear info maybe u can help
so say g2 wins something im really not sure at this point and makes it into franchiosing they are there for two years till end of 2025 what happens in 2026 for g2 they start over? kicked out? need to go back through ascension and win that all for another two years?
Lovely video, I have questions though. Since there is 3 Ascension tournaments, what if 2 EU teams win 2/3 Ascension tournaments and an NA team hypothetically doesn't win a tournament, does 0 NA team make it to franchising? Or am I confused about the teams. How many NA, EU and Pacific teams can play in 3 ascension tournaments and how does each regional team get slotted in their respective franchised league?
There's an Ascension tournament for each region There's already 10 franchised teams from every region and the winner of Ascension of their region will join them
@@king_thanos_2116 Yeah I know but winner from each regional playoffs goes to an ascension tournament. If a regional team (EU for example) that wins an ascension tournament, will they be unable to play the next two allowing the other regional teams to qualify for their own franchising league?
@@jdang4828 Like i said, there's going to be an Ascension tournament for each region There's going to be an EU winner,an NA/SA winner and an Asian winner every year because the Ascension tournaments are seperate for every region

Stop sleeeping on MiTH again man, they've been hard battling and trading tournament wins with BLEED throughout this off season whilst BOOM have looked underwhelming throughout. I think BLEED and MiTH are at the top of SEA while I think for APAC, the chinese teams (and perhaps the Japanese/Korean teams) may cause issues, but I think the average skill cap is higher in this region compared to the other two.
"ascension" is the final tournament that decides who goes to franchising from the americas, EMEA and pacific, and "challengers" (which includes the playoffs) is the league system that decides who goes to the ascension tournament. it's all very confusing but I hope that helped :]

i kind of want G2 to qualify to franchising so we could see the old sen players (shazham and dapr) face off new sen roster.
M80 is winning
Parla in EMEA. They held NAVI to a 3-2 grand finals and beat some of the franchising teams at the GLOOT tourney
The Nation
M80 for Americas, parla esports from EMEA, and Northeption or Bleed for Pacific
when he referred the the “pacific” as Asia 😂😭
what about tier 3

Team Queso have a history with underdog runs.
But what is the difference between Playoffs and Ascension ?
"ascension" is the final tournament that decides who goes to franchising from the americas, EMEA and pacific, and "challengers" (which includes the playoffs) is the league system that decides who goes to the ascension tournament. it's all very confusing but I hope that helped :]
