I'm thinking that Togo is supposed to be produced "2-go". Power for when you're on-the-go. To go power.
I have been doing research on power stations for about 3 months - PTSD from the Snow Apocalypse we had in TEXAS Feb of 2021. This is by FAR the MOST INFORMATIVE comparison video I have seen. It helped me avoid spending $500 and up out of sheer panic for the upcoming Winter season - we still have a shady Power Grid issue here in TEXAS. Thank YOU Thank you Thank you... and THANK YOU one more time!
can I watch tv with that? and how long?
Which did you end up thinking with @erica R
I'm sorry to hear that the snow you encountered in Texas brought you inconvenience and huge costs. I think many people in Texas need mobile power to avoid danger! The cost performance of our products is much higher than that of a large number of products in the market. If you also think that mobile power supply is a good development direction, we hope you can act as our brand's distributor agent in your local area. The strength of our company is introduced in my channel ~ looking forward to cooperating with you!
After your review, I decided to get the Wattfun power station and I'm very happy with it! Thanks for all the great content.
Good choice!
Where di you purchase your watt fun?
I went with the WattFun after your review. I have the Setpower fridge all is well . Thanks for the very thorough review. Saved some coin and got exactly what was needed. Will continue watching you TYVM
I have two Snugmaxs 350 now, by accident, but I considerate it a blessing, and I ran one of them the other day playing music for a feeding-the-hungry church ministry. (I had the other on standby in case it ran out of juice) I plugged a speaker system into it, the Bose L1 Compact, running about 100-200 watts. I had another speaker system from a friend, pushing probably almost the same. I had my keyboard, a small 6 watt output, and a mixer which is running 12 watts. When I had all that plugged into the power strip (plugged into the outlet on the Snugmax) It was only drawing 38 watts of power. We ran that thing for three hours straight, maybe a little more, and get this, THE POWER LEVEL ON THE SNUGMAX DIDN'T LOSE ONE BAR! I and everybody who was paying attention with me was stoked! I am glad I have two. At $150.00 each from Walmart, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!
Thanks for the review! I bought my Set Power fridge based on your review. I just ordered the WattFun. Love your channel, please keep the “day in the life of” videos coming please!
Thank you! Will do!
This was extremely helpful! I've been leaning towards the Rockpals however, after seeing this, I really like the Togo Power. I'm thinking I'll just save my money and get the Togo Power. Thank you very much for your time and detail. 🙌🏾
Thank you, Matt! I bought the Jackery Explorer 1000 paired with SolarSaga 100w Solar Panel. This gets me through 3-4 days of heavy use out camping and hooked up to my fridge entirely.
Now, that's how you do a side by side comparaison. You know your stuff! Thanks a lot!!!!
Cleared up a tremendous amount of confusion I had. Thanks for this video.
I got the 300 watt jackery version. Perfect little power station for all my charging needs. The 500 watt seems kind of lacking in features for it's asking price tag so I settle with the sweet 300 watt for a great price. I have use it with all my road trip and let me tell you, I love it. It's more than enough for all my needs. Small portable and compact at the same time, packs a punch when I needed. The two outlet along with the PD USB C and 2 extra USB port charging is what sold me on the 300 jackery explorer. It's well worth every penny and not overly expensive. As for all those other that you have here on review just didn't exceed my expectation. They're either too bulky or just seems sketchy in terms of quality and ergonomic. As for the wattfun I feel the handle is kind of flimsy and can break off and the ergonomic is just not there for me versus the jackery. To me the jackery 300 just seems to be the better version in terms of portability and compact size with ergonomic without the added weight and bulkiness.
Thank you. This was very helpful. I just ordered the Togo($260) and RockPals ($150). Instead of just carrying 4 little chargers around (lol). These will help while camping and all day fishing trips.
Amazing comparison. Thank you for doing this.
This was a great review. It really helped guide me in my decision. Thank you!
Fabulous comparison and great information. Thank you!
Hi from St. Louis, Missouri! Thanks for the review as I have heard about Jackery but none of the others. Very impressed with the Wattfun, at face value, and am ordering one next. Thanks!
Awesome! Thank you!
Just getting into your channel. Love your video style and the conversational way you review products. Great video. Im trying to decide between the Jackery 300 and the WattFun. Thanks for the great vid!
Awesome! Thank you! You can't go wrong with either and Jackery is a trusted brand but I really like the Wattfun!
I just got a Togo from Amazon for $209! Watch for sales and Prime coupons whoooo!
I chose it mainly for the detailed display and regulated dc to run my electric blanket while camping. I’m happy with my choice and the deal.
Thank you so much for this comprehensive review I learned a lot.
Great comparison videos. Thank you for putting this out.
Thank you for the comparison. As a newbie, I am facing the whirlwind of products out there. I’m on a fixed income so I am definitely looking for bang for my buck. Your review not only introduced me to new products but also gave me ratings on things I hadn’t even thought of. Bravo! Great job.
HI,Sandra! If you are instested in portable power, you can contact me ~ Our company are specialize in power supply. We provide high-quality and low-cost products. The quality of our products can be compared with the above products, but our products have a price advantage over their products. Great comparison. Thanks!
You are the master of all things mobile power! Great vid!
Just ordered my wattfun , thanks for the comparison!!
Thanks for the review, nice little backup
Very well rounded review. Thanks for the help.
Honestly, of these 4 the Togo Power Advance 350 would be my choice. I love the wireless charging on top. I'm also a fan of the flat top design. I don't like having a fixed handle. I'm in a YJ and space is extremely limited and the boxier design means it can fit in more places or have some items stacked on it. Great review!
The togo us where I went, but i went to the 650 advance. The fixed handle on the jackery was a negative, but the ability to double charge the jackery off a USB power bank as an additional option was very tempting. In the end though, the togo just had too many other positives going for it
Hey there! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the video and the Togo Power Advance 350. It sounds like you really enjoy the wireless charging feature and the flat top design of the Togo Power Advance 350. If those are important to you, I think you would also appreciate the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series. It has a massive capacity of up to 5kWh, powerful output, fast recharging, and even a waterproof design. It's definitely worth considering for your outdoor adventures or home backup power needs. Happy camping and stay powered up!
purchased the Watt fun 18 months ago, thanks for the break down. just wanted to re watch for fun.
with so many options out there reviews are a help. after this review and others, i went with the wattfun. omg what a great little unit. im amazed at how quickly it will solar charge i use a cheap 100 watt solar panel, this unit accepted 72 watts, pretty good for my cheap solar panel and fully charged in 2 hrs 50 min from 12% left. this unit does alot and i am very pleased. thank for your help in my decision making.
Thank you so much, I go the To-Go Unit for 199.00 on sale today at Adorama :) Thank you for the comprehensive review. I like the weather covers on the To Go unit most since I do a lot of all-weather video work on location. Keeping dust, dirt, and precipitation out of those connection ports is meaningful. Nice job, I found your channel by doing a search for the To-Go Pioneer 330. You were the top recommendation by UA-cam :) Side-note, one thing you didn't mention is if they have fans that run? Noise is a factor with video gear, I'm taking a guess that they are pretty quiet, or I just have to drape the unit for sound dampening.
can I watch tv with that? and how long?
Great review. You really helped me make my choice on what one to get. I just ordered the Togo, the wireless phone charging swayed me. They also have amazing tech support. I got mine for my air mattress and charging gadgets. I use the Ecoflow River Max for my fridge and it works really well.
that's awesome!
1 year later I just checked the prices and the Togo is $199 and has a $20 off coupon so $179 and is now the cheapest. It was already my choice! I LOVED the review thanks
Your video helps one make objective decisions out of all the plusses and minuses of all the power stations.
What a brilliant and fair comparison
Great comparison video.
This was a great video thanks i have a small Jackery160 and thinking of 300
This comparison review was very helpful. Great to consider purchasing one of these items if one lives on/near the Gulf Coast--it's Hurricane Season.
Thank you for the review. Very helpful
Great info. Thank you!
This was great! Thanks for the fantastic info.
Excellent full reviews!
Great job and information. Appreciate the helpful review...
Glad it was helpful!
Well done. Thanks for posting.
First heard of the wattfun from you. Now I have one. Thanks
May 2023 update:: I went ahead and bought the WattFun in July 2022 for $199 after watching the comparisons --- and I still absolutely *love* it to smithereens!! I am not disappointed and do not intend to get a bigger one until I get a fridge and a heater of some sort.
The two A/C ports (one 3-pronged, one 2-pronged) plus the compact size and light weight have been great while the detailed read-out is super helpful. I have yet to drain it completely, even when I was using a reading light, running 2 fans and a radio all night while charging my cell phone & watch and then using the water heater pot in the morning for breakfast. Another time, the little 300W heater that I used really strained it, but it held up through the night by only turning it on for short bursts to keep the chill off the dog's area.
Admittedly, I would like one more USB port. Covers are nice, and the top charger is convenient if you have something that uses it, however, at the time of purchase, the price was right, I did not have a need for the top charger, and duct tape has worked fine covering the 12V opening.
The one time I called support they were quite helpful, even if I did not like their answer at first. I believe they are U.S. based and they offered me options. They also said to call back for additional help as I needed it. Okay. I did call back and they did help. Good job.
I purchased the togo power 650 because the wireless charger and is built with lights on the side and the handle, same like the 350 but more power for few xtra bucks. Thanks for the video it help my buying decision.
Thank You! Thank You! So glad I watched your Shootout. Just canceled the Jackery and ordered the WattFun. 2000 charging cycles vs. 500. Are you kidding me. Sweet! One thing I wasn't crazy about w/the Jackery was the proprietary solar panel connection. Now I can choose whatever brand of panel I want -and up the input wattage.
Glad I could help!
Thank you so much. This information I needed
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome review.THANKS MAN
Very helpful. Thank you, sir!
Super helpful video!
I run the Progeny 300w (299wh/Pure sine). Tested it on my 37L fridge. lasted 37 hours. Paid 179.99 on Amazon and even lucked out with the Progeny 120w solar panel for 130 on amazon. Panels charge the power station like a champ. Absolutely love the setup.
I have the same battery and got it for the same price on Amazon and I agree, it works great and it's all I need. I also have a Nexpow that has 175 Wh, is very small and I got it on Amazon for under $100 and it works great as well.
7 months later the Togo is only 350 bucks.
can I watch tv with that? and how long?
You must have gotten the last one.
Thank you it was helpful
Very helpful tks man
Thanks for the review. I would’ve went with the Jackery
Love this video
Just ordered the WattFun because it's clearly the winner by a long shot. I also ordered the 4 year service just to beat the Jackery warranty.
I got the Hsecptow 360w power station with 2 ac plugins 3 usb's including high speed and a USB c port. I paired it with the enginstar 100w solar panel. it's awesome. Pass through charging and wireless charging. excellent flashlights along with a dc port. But get this, it was Amazon's lightning deal and the company didn't take off the extra coupon. Final price after $40 coupon code, online code, and lightning deal - $54.80! I couldn't believe it. I called six friends and family members and they got it too! Most incredible deal I ever had!
Very helpful!
Great informative video.
Barry
This was a good review. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Thank for the info
So helpful ❤❤❤
Speaking of WattFun, looks like you had watts of it doing this comparo!
I'd love to see a "shootout" for the higher WH power stations, as well. This video was SO helpful! New subscriber, here.
Thanks!!!
I agree - a 500 to 600 watt shootout
Excellent comparison! Thank you! I'm tempted to pull the trigger on the Togo 240, on sale now at Amazon for $160.
Be sure to purchase the ZHSMS Universal Cigarette Lighter Cover Cap Waterproof Dustproof Cover for Auto Car Cigarette Lighter Socket Plug Cover Dust Cap Car Accessory (2 Pack) for it to keep the dirt and water out.
Very useful review. The Togo Power Advance 350 looks the same as an Enginstar 296Wh/ 80000mAh Portable Power Station 350W available in England.
Very informative video
Ya I run my cfx 28 on a jackery 240 and it has no problem surviving all night til im running my Jeep the next day. Space is a priority for me , so I needed a small bank. It does suck that the 300 didn't exist when I bought the 240 cuz I would have bought it ( and might down the road ) but the 240 usually has about 40 percent by morning which is all I need out of it. All it does is my fridge and nothing else
Thanks. I ordered an open box Togo off eBay.
Great review!
Thanks!
I'm in the market for a power station and this was definitely a helpful video. Two thumbs up!
First time buying a power station and I'm only looking to charge the essentials, the norm electronics. Under $250 any suggestions?
The Jackery 300 is a step up of the 240, which I got recently and I love it. Having 2ac outlets is a plus and having a 12v socket is a must in any portable generator. Also, having all the connections in the front makes it more manegeable and the size is just right. Interesting comparison, thanks for the review.
can I watch tv with that? and how long?
Thank you for your feedback! I totally agree with you, the Jackery 300 is a great power station with its AC outlets and 12V socket. I also appreciate the front connections and compact size. By the way, have you heard about the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series? It has a massive capacity of up to 5kWh, fast recharging, and a waterproof design. It's definitely worth considering for your outdoor adventures and home backup power needs. Check it out!
Thank you for your transparency in this review. Ozark Overland Adventures, just help a lovely lady from PHILLY, US choose wisely according to my mobile travel needs for PORTABLE AND BACKUP POWER! TOGO IS MY CHOICE! & I JUST SUBSCRIBED!
Awesome! Thank you!
Nice video. I bout the Togo power based on your work.
Great comparison. Very informative. Other information that would be useful is mentioning if any have outdoor weather proofing or rating. The Togo appears to have covers over all the ports (very helful if the unit tips over in the dirt). Curious if any are rated for moisture or have temperature range ratings (common scenarios include staying in a car with the windows rolled up or an unexpected overnight freeze)?
I just picked up the Jackery 300 for 209 on amazon so I'm happy I got it for a great deal. It seems like its a pretty nice little power pack even though it didn't win. thanks for the review
Very nice!
Along with extended warranty so 2 year warranty jackery won for me
Really great review! I'm looking for a battery to run a small mixer and amplifier for street performing and this was great information.
Glad it was helpful! I think you will need something bigger than these for that but I'm not certain.
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures I'm not sure myself but I only use a small 15 watt amplifier and a little mixer. I'll try it and if it doesn't work I'll upgrade. The prices for the 300wh batteries is really good. Thanks again!
HI Rick,!This is Tiffany. From your words,I know that you looking for a battery to run a small mixer and amplifier for street performing. If you are instested in portable power station, you can contact me ~ Our company are specialize in power supply. We provide high-quality and low-cost products. The quality of our products can be compared with the above products, but our products have a price advantage over their products. If you want to spend less money to get the same experience, please contact me! We welcome you to purchase individually and in batches ~I am looking forward to your letter.
Thanks, I went with the WattFun, just off of your reviews. I haven't received mine yet, but what is the max power input on the 110 socket (for the WattFun)?
I love my jackery 300! but they probably need to update it.
I HAVE THE ROCKPAL300 AND 100W PANEL, I GET 70W OF CHARGING POWER. I LOVE IT!
Awesome review. Only spec missing was weight. These are all much lighter than I expected though.
The ToGo power 240 is only $150 at the time I checked Amazon. Same features, lowest price with just less capacity makes it a no-brainer. It has pass-thru, so you can charge it off the vehicle while your loads stay on.
I have the RockPals 300 and love it. With my cpap on for 8.5 hours, it only dropped to 80%. Used it every night during my Moab trip and with a DC powered electric blanket for a couple nights without issue. Charged it from my cigarette lighter while wheeling. Keep in mind, the RockPals is by far the more economical option when compared to the others. If I was planning on running a fridge and multiple other accessories, I'd probably look at the 500 range models or higher. Would recommend to others depending on their needs.
since the lifepo4 wattfun charges several thousand times more then the others, your rockpals isn't the cheapest if you look at the big picture, I do agree that these 300's are only for simple camping, gotta go with 600 to 1000 for any practical use!
The Rockpals also charges via wall and USB-C simultaneously. And, I've gotten over 50W input from the Rockpals 100W solar panel. So - its not capped at 45W as you stated.
We have a little Entergizer that I think paid around $150. Does everything we need at camp
Westinghouse Igen300 works great for me, AWESOME price, lightweight. 👍
I love my rock pal 300
I two of these that you are testing and I use them in emergencies to power my two 54qt refrigerators and a 37qt refrigerator. I have 400w of solar panels in two banks of 200w. I can run mine indefinitely.
can I watch tv with that? and how long?
Very Nice
Just go the Watt Fun! Better and latest battery technology was a no brainer! Thanks for your review!
I tried the Wattfun but ended up returning it. The 120 plug kept shutting off after about 5hrs or so. Not sure why. Went with a larger Bluetti eb70.
You should try the tawak power station. It was on amazon for 100 USD recently and its rated at 300w continous 450 burst and has a capacity of 250wh. I love mine. Tons of features, lots of ways to charge it too. Its also very small and has a very very good value imo. I'd pit it up against any of those, and I'm sure it costs far less than those models did. Also its very very quiet even when charging gaming laptops that draw 200+ watts.
This is exactly what I needed to know, what size do I need & which ones are the best, thanks!
THANKS FOR THE REVIEW..I BOUGHT THE WATT FUN 300W GENERATOR. CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT SIZE PLUG GOES INTO THE CHARGER,I WANT TO BUY AN ADDITIONAL CABLE. THANKS.
Great video! What are your thoughts on the more powerful A650, 634Wh by TOGO POWER?
Though I went with Jackery I kinda wish I’d gone with Bluetti. Was hoping to meet you and take your Gaia class at the Big Iron rally. Unfortunately there was a delay in the installation of my Long Range America aux tank. Maybe next time. Keep up the good work. Enjoy your videos.
Dang!! But getting the long range tank will be awesome!!
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures definitely may need it if the gas problem on the east coast starts creeping it’s way west.
Something that I was able do with my Alpicool 45 and Paxess 300W is to set the Eco mode to low voltage (9.0v). This helped me run the fridge for ~35 hours in 72 degrees. It will still shutoff at 25% but worked very well for the Paxcess not having a regulated 12v. This is a setting that can assist if someone already has a smaller power station and gets fridge but doesn’t have the means to immediately get the larger power station. If you want to take a look at the Paccess 300w to ass to the list of ever growing power stations I will be at Big Iron this weekend, its not bad for ~$230.
The fact that the Wattfun won AND it's in a class above the rest being LifePo4 makes this a no brainer for the Wattfun. These days I wouldn't even consider a power station that isn't LifePo4.
My GMG pellet grill needs 240W start / 60W cont. ... what do you suggest, or could I use something like a power station with 1200 power amps with 500W inverter ? ... thank you in advance
TOGO wins .....the port covers & wireless charging should have earned a point or even 2!!! it charges really fast & gains nearly 20 percent on on hour drive while plugged in to my car. love it
nice video...good foundation of comparison. i think the 350 should not be in the shootout. Other considerations for me are: 1) don't prefer a flip top handle 2) the fun has two ac ports , but both are not 3 prong. but, you got me thinking about the fun instead of the jack. Again very informative!
