  • Hey Everyone! I am back! In this video, I dive as deep as I can to explain the process of building a water cool pc. If you have any questions please put them in the comments down below or drop me a message on Instagram. I will be happy to help. I hope you enjoy the video!
    PSA: Forgot to mention that I have a temperature sensor in order to have my fans speed up to that temperature, not CPU or GPU temperature.
    Parts:
    EK Res Pump Combo: amzn.to/3OoJqrD
    Ryzen 5900x: amzn.to/3EwDQ2R
    RTX 3090 Strix: amzn.to/3g7uq4q
    EK RTX 3090 strix active backplate and water block: amzn.to/3UBELoi
    EK CPU Block: amzn.to/3X3iOQK
    Lian Li GPU Strimer: amzn.to/3X8HIyc

    Just got a bunch of EK fittings (EK Quantum Torque nickel) so I can chime in on that one: They're not easier. Still gotta press kinda hard. Kinda logical too when you think about it. They're supposed to be real tight. Lubricating the gasket tends to help a great deal with pushing it in though. (that's what she said)
    Nice build by the way. Kinda wondering what case that is? Interior sorta looks like an O11 Dynamic, but it's clearly not.
    Some personal points:
    Personally would have redone the tube from CPU to the top rad. Just a tad bit too short.
    I'd also change all front fans to pull air into the case to create positive air pressure inside case. That way, more dust that gets sucked in gets pushed out.
    Now you just have all fans pushing air out, creating negative pressure, pulling dust into the case. (like a vacuum cleaner)
    I guess you could also eventually reposition the front rad to the floor of the case. Though that takes quite a bit more work + might screw with the outlet.
    A better alternative: Add some fans to the floor that also pull air into the case.
    Also, exactly where did you install the temperature sensor? Can't really see it anywhere.

    Nice to see a video that helps beginners. A tip though - disable autofocus on your camera, your movements make the video blury and hard to watch. Got me dizzy.

    Wait, how do put the tubes through the radiator😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

      @Phantomm397 Місяць тому

      The tubes don’t go all the way in throughout the radiator, just on the inlet then you seal it off with the fittings

    How long do you have to heat the acrylic tubes to bend and do your hands get hot too ? I m thinking if I should do my pc build and get experience too

    • @techwithray
      @techwithray  Рік тому

      About 30-45 seconds. And no my hands did not get hot. You have to place your hands as far as possible from the heat

    Honest feedback, I came to see a PC build but yours is a PC upgrade. I had the impression I will see someone assembling the different components out of the box but I was disappointed

      Thanks for the feedback. The only thing really missing from this was putting in the CPU in and RAM. I wanted to focus more on the water cool aspect and not so much on the basics. But I will make note of this for future videos!

    How do I heat tubes without the tube getting ripples

    • @techwithray
      @techwithray  Рік тому

      It depends on the tube you’re using but you have to get it to the right temp then bend slowly. If it’s too hot you’ll get ripplers

      Any fittings you’d like. Depends if you’re using soft tube or hard.
