@@mphmiles Yeah, like I don't think he's top tier or anything, but severely underrepresented. I feel like at top level, he has way more potential than people give him credit for. Especially after watching the Zackray - Sparg0 match where he had all sorts of frame traps and setups.

I don't think Snake or gren fit him well enough I know he's to prideful and put in to much work but I think he should bring back the mega man if he wants to play more trap based like snake but if he really wanted to dominate neutral with speed and frame data like zss him playing pika would be scary even without optimal combos

元の英語は失望や否定的な意味はそこまで強くなく、olderも割とニュートラルな「歳を重ねた」くらいの使われ方で、"damn time never stops"のdamnも軽い強調的なもので、全体的に翻訳ほど攻撃的なニュアンスではなさそうです。

I ran the Japanese comments through translation for fun. LOL this is too funny - the translation mess-up made your "what?" reaction completely make sense! The Japanese comment is actually suggesting possible reasons why he might look different (like being tired from travel or having some stubble), but since Japanese often omits the subject, these nuances got completely lost in the translation.

There's nothing you can complain about with ZSS that doesn't apply to Pit. That makes the whining in the comments all the more sweet. Inconsistent hitboxes, low damage output, struggling to kill, doesn't matter it's the same for Pit. In fact ZSS outclasses Pit as a character.

His Luminosity run was pretty alright.
Watching Marss play ZSS is really making me lose faith in the character. Marss plays so well but can never kill. It seems that ZSS just really doesn’t have any kill options that are super great, except for the small back air
Unfortunately, that's how she works. You have her dsmash and upsmash, which aren't that safe (not even mentioning fsmash); side b, which is pretty punishable; and bair/boost kick. Flip kick is also a thing, but it's not a reliable kill move, and you're in a bad position if you brainlessly burn it. You have to play a risky game to get the kill because shield beats out 90% of her kill options. What really doesn't help is the opponent gets free pressure because her shield game is putrid, so the opponent doesn't really have to respect her kill options that much and can live to 200.
Yes, I know that all of these moves are viable options when conditioning your opponent to account for multiple options, I was more so saying that you can't safely mash kill options like a lot of top characters do, but you have to be cerebral and play with a very precise bait and punish playstyle.

They are actually great commentators, the vibe is just purposefully different since it's a Summit-style event.
Marss just needs to pick a new character and stick to it. Watching him win neutral constantly and just get nothing for it is so painful
Pit is pretty much nothing but neutral, so if you lose to him especially as ZSS you just got outplayed.

It's less about needing a new character, pit isn't too great of a character compared to the other top tiers. Marss has the raw talent to be the best in the world and he relies too much on that without practicing consistently compared to the current top players. That is why he loses, he just isn't as consistent which he could get with more dedicated practice. Marss is also my favorite player just saying.
