This is actually beautiful.. They would be the cutest couple! It is so sweet, and there is so much love there.. You can tell that they are genuinely good friends. Too beautiful xo
Hi, first time I saw Bob Downe was in 1986 at the Adelaide fringe festival which runs just before the arts festival.Sitting with other Tasmanians at a front row table right next to the stage and Bob was so hilarious that the non stop laughter made it hard to breath. Same small performance space at same Fringe, saw the Doug Anthony All-stars,one of those was Paul McDemott and they were equally wild and certainly cheeky. there are many great Australian comedians, but DAAS and Bob Downe were so funny I was almost sliding off my chair with laughter.
I do love the little twitchy, cute and cheeky smile Paul gives Mark at 3:15 when he does the dip. And I love that Marks starts laughing after it! XD Such a cute couple.
So glad someoone had a copy of this to post, I ran out my copy on VHS. Man GNW used to be so quality and awesome....now it's a pale imatation of it's former self, and a disapointing one at that.

I keep watching this when I feel sad. It's funny and beautiful and never fails to cheer me up! :)
The best!!!!!
Please, please, please bring back GNW !
Great fun... In the UK, Mark acts as Bob Downe... Great singer and entertainer.

That was just wonderfully written.
I love how Flacco is just ... there..
I remember this song when it first aired. I sang this song for weeks afterwards. Looks like i'll be singing it for weeks again..
That was so beautiful 💕

September 2020
love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
EEE! i love it!
This is so much better than the original
Which is better, this one or the one with Martine McCutcheon?? I think the theremin solo just clinches the win...
Never realised Paul macdermott was a good singer
@FBMOAY yes true, but... be fair, they do the best the can with what they've got. Channel Ten don't give them much to work with as they should.
3:30 so revenge for 3:15
I reckon that in these days, Paul was a much better actor. In comparison to nowadays anyway.....
Who's Marsha ?
Me a year into the future. Been a long time since this episode aired. But i would hazard to guess Marcia Hines.
