Those donuts looked great, I had wanted to try them when they had a food truck in Waikiki (I think it was this same donut place) but unfortunately didn't have a chance to. Countdown to your wedding, it's almost here, early congrats to you both.

Love this video! I had Holey Grail donuts for the first time 2 weeks ago and I’m HOOKED! 🔥😉 Love the crunchy exterior & pillowy dough. The lilikoi vanilla and ube were my FAVORITE! Great video as always ohana…I need to try the Thai restaurant🤙🏻😃

Hmm, I tried Better Bites when it first opened, and was underwhelmed. Maybe I need to go back and try that khao soi and soft shell crab! I will check out Holey Grail Donuts too on your recommendation. Thanks for taking us along as you highlight these local places! 🙏🤙

@AmandaFelixEats I've learned there are many different styles of Khao Soi. It's all about that curry and if you actually get that chicken leg 🍗. Some try to use the thighs, and even breast meat chopped up. Some curry 🍛 is like water, and some are thick.Im spicy here.

I love sticky rice, esp the Thai sticky rice and mango dessert. the soft shell crab salad looks so good. Thai cuisine is so flavorful.. I plan to check out this place Happy Thanksgiving to you both.

Amanda, I make my own Thai tea. You can buy a bag of loose tea and make it by the pitcher at home. Need sweetened condense milk. It's not good for you if you drink the pitcher in one day. Just saying it can happen.

Bummahs again! My wife would have insisted trying the Thai restaurant, Better Thai Food. But as I said in your previous video , we are back in the SF Bay Area. So this is another place we have to add to our list for next year.
BTW, we've had the boat noodle in Thailand and it was excellent. Can't wait to try this one

Amanda pro tip, you must use the condiments in the beef noodles. It's dried chili, vinegar chili, Thai "salsa", and sugar

For some reason all Thai restaurants seemed to add under-cooked green Bell peppers to their food about the year 2005 in Hawaii. Far different than we were used to...so we stopped going to Thai restaurants. We ate Thai for years, but the green Bell peppers are a complete and absolute turn off.
