Really enjoyed the morning video of the cruise ship to the Bahamas! It's great to see content that captures the early hours on the ocean, and as a morning person, I found it very special. The background music complemented the beautiful visuals of the Bahamas and the cruise ship well. Your detailed review was very helpful.
Honestly just not my thing, but you do have to appreciate the sheer scale and majesty of it. They pull out all the stops. I really liked the adult bar overlooking the pool. I'm not a drinker but I could hang out there for days. It is just all so overwhelming...as it was designed to be...
Overwhelming is an understatement and I get it's definitely not for everyone. I wanted to find out for myself so that's why we did it. I'm not in love with it, but it wasn't the worst thing I did.
Mind blown! It's truly amazing how we as people can build such amazing, beautiful, ships and other wonderful things. Makes me wonder why we have wars and such? Why can't we come together to build and share our knowledge with others. What a better world it would be if we all shared with each other. Happy New Year to you and your family.
You are a fantastic videographer! I love your Google exploring videos, been watching for years, and this video is so different and wonderfully done! Thank you for all your content!
Thank you for giving us the tour! It’s not my cup of tea, but it’s nice to know what there is on these huge ships. Glad you got to go and enjoyed yourselves! Very informative! ……🌝
We did our first MSC cruise on the Seashore. We are taking this cruise in May, Thanks for the video. I am super excited to board this ship. I usually get up early as well to enjoy the beauty of the ocean with sunrise.
Excellent video!! Very clear descriptions, down to earth, no jarring background music, & exceptional editing. God willing, we are boarding this ship summer 2025. Already booked. First time on MSC. Went on multiple Carnival cruises in the past. Super stoked. This is the best YT video I’ve seen of this ship. The anticipation of this much needed vacay is already giving me so much joy. Thank you so much for your videos. Continued blessings to you and your loved ones🙏🏼 nurse amanda
You are definitely great at introducing us to new places & adventures, whether it is abandoned buildings, tunnels, waterworks, remnants of coalworks, or cruise ships. Thank you! I must admit though, I wondered for a second why you had a pic of a random guy posing on the staircase-- until I realized it was you lol. You clean up good! Happy new year.
Your documentation here actually is encouraging to me to also maybe go on a cruise at some point. I was always hesitant because being the picky eater I am I feared there would probably be no food for me that would work ... seeing this has lifted this fear. Not sure how it would be on other cruises but this one looks like one I could survive :)
I obviously can't speak for other cruise lines, but I'm happy with what MSC has to offer and they have multiple ships to choose from. Glad the videos can be helpful.
I can't believe how enormous the ship is and there are so many things to do! Love the waterpark, looked like you were having a fun time on the slide! It's very fancy and extravagant and just beautiful! I can see why the Prominade Galleria is your favorite part of the ship, it's very impressive, I like that area too. I liked all areas of the ship you showed, it's all fantastic! Love the underwater footage you took while you were snorkeling. I wonder if that small bubble was some kind of jellyfish. All the food looked delicious, hope you enjoyed your lobster dinner! What an amazing experience and a wonderful tour JP! Great video, thank you! 💙
With how big it is, it took some getting used to navigating the ship, but it was fun to explore. Dressing up was a fun experience for gala night. I did think that bubble could be a type of jellyfish, but I didnt want to touch it to find out lol.
Very nice tour of your ship and the Bahama port. I saw a Royal ship in port with yours. Believe me when I say your ship is so different from Royal. I was making a whole new explore. Good to see you having fun.
Wow...spectacular ! Never realized how very massive cruise ships could be . overwhelming ...I think I would stay lost . Liked the ship's "mall" shopping area and the stroll thru the village in Nassau . You looked great dressed for your lobster dinner . Hope it was good ! Awesome explore ...thank you for expanding my world right from my easy chair ..👍💙
It took a couple days to get accustomed to everything, but by mid week I knew the ship pretty well. It was a nice occasion to get dressed up, but mostly wore shorts and tank tops.
I have been on several cruises with carnival, I don't live near a coast, so it is hard to cruise. I have been to the Bahamas several times. I am going on a cruise out of New York to Bermuda. Thanks for bringing us along on your vacation. A different subject than you usually do, great video and enjoy your much needed vacation. Happy holidays Jay.
looks a lovely ship, did you have a play in the casino!? i would have, always been tempted by a cruise heard lots of good things about them, happy new year jp
Fabulous presentation!! You have me intrigued, but Kristen…nope. Not a fan of water or cruise ships. But, you never know! Again, fantastic and very enjoyable video!
Nice tour of your ship. You seem more comfortable in this video. I was on a cruise as a teen to the Bahamas. I remember the Straw Market was cool. I bought a hat there. How clear the water was also sticks in my mind. You could be waist deep and still see your toes. Can't do that in Jersey. You looked good dressed up for dinner. How often did you go to the ice cream bar? That seemed to pique your interest.
Thank you for making these cruise videos! What a beautiful ship and I love the fact that it was so clean and had many food options. Since I have never been on a cruise, these videos are very interesting to me. I have LOTS of questions!! Did you find other ways to escape the crowds besides waking early? Was there a lot of waiting in lines? Are the staterooms fairly quiet at night for sleeping? Is "room service" provided each day, like in a hotel? How long were you able to stay off of the ship when in port? Did you have to ride a smaller boat to shore? I'm assuming you had to be mindful of the time in order to return back to the ship. I've read scary stories of people who were left behind in port...the ship left them. Did the staff regularly interact with the passengers? (I'm thinking back to The Love Boat days with Julie the cruise director and dinner with Captain Stubin at the captain's table. Ha Ha) Did you ever see any sea animals in the ocean like whales or dolphins? Was there a point during the cruise when you wished you had booked a shorter trip? After this trip, how do you feel about taking another cruise? Thank you for being patient with all of my questions! I've been a big fan for years and always look forward to your videos. It's fun waiting and wondering what you're going to do next!
I'll do my best to answer your questions... To avoid crowds, going early is very helpful. We also checked the schedule for when shows or events are taking place and typically other areas aren''t as busy at those times. You do have to wait sometimes for things, but nothing more then a few minutes at most. The crew on the ship is pretty good at keeping things moving. We had an assigned cabin steward who cleaned our room twice daily and he was amazing and took care of any needs we had. The ports vary as to how much time you'll have. The first port (port canaveral) we stayed on the ship as it was pretty empty. For the other ports we had most of the day and got back on within plenty of time and no one missed the ship returning. The staff was the best part of the ship. We had the same cabin steward and same waiter at the dining room for the entire trip and they are friendly and talkative. While sailing south, we did see some dolphins in the ocean and when snorkeling in the Bahamas there was tons of sea wildlife. By the 6-7th day we were ready for it to be over. I think we picked a good length and too short and you will feel it's over too soon and too long and you may get tired of it. We aren't in love with cruising, but I think we'll do one again. Hope that helped!
@@JPVideos81 Very helpful! Thank you for taking the time to answer all of my questions. Maybe I'll get to go one day. I've had several people tell me that Alaskan cruises were their favorite with the beautiful scenery, hiking, and whale-watching excursions.
@CJWilkins-dt6xr Every night, there will be a newspaper left on your bed. There will be all information about the next day. It will tell you time of arrival and departure and time to be back on the ship. We are usually back on the ship an hour before that time. We also prefer ship excursions because if it's late, ship will wait. Happened to us twice, once in Portugal and once in France. For the first cruise 7 or 8 days is the best. The longest cruise we took was 19 days. I will be going on my 47th cruise soon. So, be careful to not to get addicted.😂 Always ger balcony room. Don't listen to people telling you that you only sleep in your room. BIG difference. Any more questions?
I would find myself to the engine room . But quiet, cruising with the unlimited food I would take as a personal challenge. Lol. A good way to get lost for the next four years. How many times did you hear "Sweet Caroline " Thanks, 31:01 Jay. Central California watching
Hello, i have bouts of vertigo. Is there any getting used to the ships movement, ornis it pretty smooth.? Looking to go on my first cruise sometime this.coming yearnand my 58th bday.. The ship is amazing. I loved the lounge and views on this ship.
Depends on where you're located in the ship and the sea conditions. Our room had slight rocking back and forth (9th floor near front of ship). Back of ship is more of a vibrantion from motors and propellers. I did get motion sickness one day, but I put on a motion sickness patch and was fine.
Hope you enjoyed the tour of the ship and the highlights from Nassau. Let me know which areas of the ship you liked the most.
I loved the adult lounge with that view wow! Also the bowling alley Nice! But dang the whole ship is fabulous!
Happy new year
Thanks JP, great overview. We were on the Meriviglia 2 years again and thinking about doing it again this year.
No mention of Top 19 aurea deck?

Where is the large 3D display (in the 24th minute of your video) located on the island ?
That is right on the island past the ships and where security checks you before returning to the ship.
@@JPVideos81 Thank you. Going on this cruise in May and this video will be very helpful.

I expect you to end up crawling around the boiler room at some point. 😂 And that first pic on the staircase was Hard! You look like a Bond villain.
I would have loved to found my way into the engine room!
Cloudscape and playback speed at 2:50 was awesome, providing a unique perspective.
Mind blown! It's truly amazing how we as people can build such amazing, beautiful, ships and other wonderful things. Makes me wonder why we have wars and such? Wow! That thing's a floating City! Thanks for sharing JP, there's alot more to a cruise than I ever imagined! Thanks for sharing it with us!👍
Absolutely! Lots to see and do any time of day.

The hidden elevator is beautiful, and the buffet foods look delicious. Awesome JP👍👍👍👍

We just got back from a cruise of the Hawaiian islands . Much smaller ship and the Pacific Ocean much rougher, but had a great time.
Looks like you are having a good time. Hope the family is too.
Happy New Year everyone

The adult only lounge that you showed with the piano - is that for yacht club members only?
That is for anyone
Are they catered by sodexo 🤔
I went on that ship last November and I’m never doing it again
Have you been on any other ships?
I'm getting Titanic vibes...
