When I heard this on the radio first thing I thought was why the hell can't we send a song like this to Eurovision!

We will NEVER win Eurovision again. Since they opened up the competition to Russia and former Soviet states, they just vote for each other. It's all about politics now, not music. They ruined it. OUR BBC licence fee money is paid to the competition to fund it. Most other countries don't pay a penny. We need to stop funding it.
you need to give up any thought of UK winning eurovison. thats a lost cause. doesnt even matter how great the UK song is. Anyways look at how shit the winning songs always are so its a pointless contest anyways. Many years back euro winners would have one hit song but now that doesnt even happen anymore. Its irrelevant. Even the joke has worn thin.

Steps formed in 1997...The world trade centre was still standing,the telletubbies were everywhere ,no political correctness,and the country was a very happy place.The only unfortunate event was the death of Diana Princess of Wales .That said ,we must support Steps ,so buy the single and let the good times roll again.Not many groups had the popularity of Steps.Brilliant ,fun,songs and easy on the eye videos .More please.Hope they bring out a new album soon,already going to see the tour.

This has an ABBA production style written all over it! I suspect the whole album will have a conceptual pop ethos with a touch of Europop.

"Story of My Heart" is a cover of the two male members of ABBA, which will be included in the forthcoming album. Other songs are original, either up-tempo or mid-tempo. No ballads due to the flop of their Xmas album in 2012.

Very disappointing this is a new entry at only number 37. Its sad because the music industry needs music like this as music is so boring and serious at the moment. It seems that if Steps can't get higher than this in the charts, no one else will bother to make anything in a similar style and we'll just have 15 or more Ed Sheeran tracks dominating most of the chart like they have done recently (9 out of the top 10 is Ed at the moment!)

The reason Ed Sheeran has 9 songs in the top ten is because the idiot middle aged men who control the charts and the record companies changed the way the charts are compiled. I have had this on loop for the last hour - its cheesier than a cheese factory on the run up to Christmas. I dont normally like songs like this - I am 45yo professional who likes Radio 4 , Jean Michele Jarre and bit of chart Progressive Trance on the side (I know its a strange mix) ... but this song has something a very special .. love it. My step-dad rung me yesterday and asked if i had heard this yet? At the time I hadn't, he went on to say he was in the car and heard it on Radio2, he said he loved it (he is in his 60's) and he knew I loved steps. I cannot stop listening to it, and I entered my forties last month. Just proves the span good music can have, and not just age!
