So far, there's three damageless runs of this game that I know of. First was Tundra83 gaming: ua-cam.com/video/SH2Wgxufye4/v-deo.html&pp=ygUIdHVuZHJhODM%3D Second was Slackanater: ua-cam.com/video/MyMAOLpNhsg/v-deo.html&pp=ygUfc2xhY2thbmF0ZXIgZmF4YW5hZHUgZGFtYWdlbGVzcw%3D%3D Third was me: ua-cam.com/video/Dv_iXHOt34E/v-deo.html
I went into the "buy" menu first, forgetting I didn't have the money yet. I had to cancel out and sell wing boots first, then buy the Giant Blade. Just a mistake, is all.
@@bogledowdee955 oh wow. So there's a lot of room for improvement for the WR on this category. I love this game, and like the idea of trying to speedrun it, but I'm afraid the pausing trick to extend wing boots is too hard. How hard is it?
@@LeoStaley There's definitely a lot of room for improvement in this category. Even the any% category has about 3 minutes difference between the human WR and the TAS. The pause extensions are definitely the hardest part of the run, but they aren't that important for getting good times either. Learning how to speedrun this game is actually pretty friendly- there's a lot of easy ways to do parts and safety strategies, and improving your time is mostly just about removing the safeties and minimizing mistakes. The hard tricks like pause extending doesn't have to come until you're already getting really competitive times.
Bill Murray as the key maker is one of his most underrated roles
Joe Pesci as the healer is pretty good too
Haha, you're right :D The key maker does look a lot like Murray :p
Lol and he keeps waking up in the same tormented reality like GHD, lol!!
"Don't have negative thoughts. Remember your mantra."
There's much more room for improvement, but it's good to see a solid run!
I liked the part where he was holding Wing Boots
What a restless guy!
This game is the reason I smoked my first cigarette at age 10. Cigs were everywhere in 1990. Glad I never got hooked 🚬 🔫
How was this game the reason??? Commendable btw on not getting hooked

@@cmonman7664 damn so parents were right about bad influence from video games back then 💀
One of my favorite games
I always enjoyed how the people greet you with "Nello."
I'm holding Wing Boots
never unterstood this game. was 4 and don´t speaked english. nice to see the end xD
I was like 9, didn't know english too, but I remember I ended it. I played it again as an adult and was surprised I could beat the game as a kid.
I was 12 and I couldn't read English but i learned to use a dictionary from then on. Good times.
I spent forever playing this back in the day.
Daily life of a wing boots salesman
Very cool run. Thanks for sharing
The wing boots exploit i see.
when you walk behing the castle wall, you can see yourself through the cracks --not very good structural support
Amazing!
cool nice run
What a nuisance that you have to get the pendant
I forgot this game has a JO key
Now i want to see a damageless run.

Bruh, do you even wingboot? 🪽 🥾
